Wow this is one of my favourites in a real long time it fulfils the more "pop rock" side that I really love about then I'm contradt to that bangers side that puts out tootime and the sound

Absolutely heartwrenching song, and probably my favourite of their entire discography so far. This song could not have come at a more neccessary time for me than now, I NEEDED this song.

Well.. this song is pretty damn incredible.

I love how Matty is able to put dark lyrical themes behind these shimmering pop songs.

No one has been able to do this as well aside from Hayley Williams. So good.

I'm 90% sure the 1975 turned down that tour.

If they went on tour together the 1975 would have to be in a place to be the clear headliners. Too much crossover appeal to make it worthwhile

Hey fam! So much like you my obsession with this band doesn't seem to end and I came up with a phone wallpaper concept. I feel like this was discussed at some point in this thread but it's probably 50 pages back. If anyone else wants to try it out, photos attached here![IMG]

Haha nah I get it. I honestly like them isolating themselves from other bands, it highlights the cinematic, grandiose quality that makes them so special.

Thank you for highlighting this incredible work of art. I’ll forever be sad they never grew from there, but Michael needed to take care of himself and that’s ultimately way more important

100%, but in a completely different way.

TSOL was much more introspective and angular in the presentation, and didn’t rely as much on the golden melodies and dichotomy between the lyrics and music. Also, the rollout definitely hurt the marketablility of the project.

Yeah, you should fix that. One of the most cathartic albums of the ‘10s imo

Hideaway is one of my favorite songs ever

If would even say it was the Julien Baker of electro pop at the time it came out

I’m not listening to the new song until I have the album. This is a test of my self control and I honestly don’t want to over play anything. I’ve only listened to the other released songs maybe once or twice even though I’ve wanted to put them on repeat.
