is it my understanding that people actually hate "radio bye bye"

bc you're all wrong, it stands with any of the pop-punky tracks on vol. 1 imo

it was all based on hype. Everyone thought it was going to be Willing Well pt. 2 and when it wasn’t, it initially felt like disappointment.

Well, they did play Gravemakers at the Hard Rock.
You can probably find some videos of it if they're doing the same set on the European tour (which I think is pretty safe to say they are.)

He looked like he was having fun.

i think at the time i was more abstractly disappointed that the end completes weren't some interconnected callback-filled suite like the willing wells but, like, as an individual song "radio bye bye" is soooo good

I’m so happy you’re liking NWFT!

Always felt like it was so underated, and a great comeback from GA. I know I hold NWFT higher than GA, but I think NWFT was the band finally having pure fun with a record, and seemed to hint as the record the 13 yo versions of themselves wanted to write

Feel like I need to revisit and give it a chance. I fell off hard after GA1. Can’t tell if I just Was expecting something different or was burnt out on the story at that point or what.

Radio bye bye is a banger, 100%. Only songs that arent are Justice in Murder and Running Free

Justice in murder is a good track , running free may be their worst

Everyone talking about how NWFT's underrated and better than its subpar reputation... I'll be over here in the corner pointing in vain at YOTBR and TCBTS

I'm actually listening to YOTBR right now and it's honestly not as bad as I remembered. Still gets ranked near the bottom for me, though. Goes to show how solid their discography actually is.

    The spiciest meme

yea albums that are on the lower rankings for me are purely because of how strong the rest of their discography is, not that I think they actually have bad albums because I really don't think they do

literal insanity putting a banger like Running Free below those other two, which are huge weak spots imo

Feathers has always been so so good because despite being the catchiest song of all time it's actually really sad

"The next chords struck are fault and failure and we both know that finger points on cue" is one of my favourite lines in the whole discog

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

YOTBR songs are great live, the production choices will forever be the reason that album is disliked by most

i’ve always liked black rainbow but it’s also always felt like the coldest most walled-off coheed record and yeah a lot of that is down to the production

YOTBR title track is the most underrated thing in this discography by y'all

it's a deliberate anticlimax that still builds to a fucking intense end and that rules
