    Sending my love

Huge tour in 2019 to support the band's 20th anniversary, as well as the release of the upcoming album Twenty, a career retrospective album featuring two new songs.

In Australia, they are performing two albums each night (pre-assigned). For other cities, 2 nights means they will play Tell All Your Friends plus other favorites, and either Louder Now one night and Where You Want to Be the other night (determined by a coin flip the day of). Cities with just one date will be an extra long set with TAYF plus other favorites.

This is great news, I didn't think I'd ever get to see Where You Want to Be front to back. I'd do something weird to see Fred there for that night, but there's virtually a 0% chance of that happening. Can't wait for the east coast dates to be announced!!

John // OC now, OH forever.

Presale for US dates is 10/16 "20AndCounting". General on sale is 10/19.
    Australia presale is 10/12, "timberwolves".

I've been on this site too long. I remember when WYWTB first came out and it being ripped to shreds. By the time Louder Now came out, I think everyone was just indifferent but I guess TBS picked up some new fans with a new generation and those albums were re-contextualized (which is cool). Anyways, they've milked the TAYF anniversary to death but would be cool to see the other two albums.

TAYF twice, LN and WYWTB in 2 nights? I'm going to be a tired boy after those.

I’ll also be at both Austin dates, even though I’m more interested in WYWTB than Louder Now. This will be awesome.

Pretty sweet. I missed the TAYF tour and would love to see it front to back once in my life. Looks like I'll have to wait for Leg 2 though for east coast dates.

It’s funny too because Adam always gets so defensive in interviews when nostalgia is brought up surrounding TBS yet here we are.

So just so I’m understanding this

Night 1: tell all your friends/favorites
Night 2: tell all your friends/louder now or wywtb

    Is that right?

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

    Not quite.

Night 1: TAYF + coin toss for either WYWTB or LN

Night 2: TAYF + whichever album wasn’t played the night before

Or... if they’re only playing one night in a city, neither WYWTB or LN will be played. In those cases, they do TAYF plus fan favorites.

Seems...kinda dumb? You’re gonna have probably 60% or more of the same people at both shows I feel like. Although I will still go to both shows.

I feel like leaving the second album choice up to chance the night of will make more people do both dates which will do better for the band

What's the alternative for them though? It's not like New Again was well received enough to where they could be like "Alright, 2 this night and 2 that night" you know?

If TAYF is being played both nights, I'll probably only go one night which works for me. Excited to see them at the Crystal again!!

I think that’s definitely the point / will work. I definitely would only go to one night if I knew when they’d play WYWTB

On another note, it'll be interesting to see how they do "This Photograph Is Proof" given that, you know, that's basically all Fred in that chorus

New Again isn't being played, though.

The only full album plays are Tell All Your Friends, Where You Want to Be, and Louder Now.
