It Walks Among Us just returns me to 2006 when I first started listening to this band.

    Album is magical.

Yeah I stand by my statement, the running free sucks. Whenever I hear “all non-believers stand aside in fear” my eardrums wince, it’s just such an odd vocal melody and a boring song

The running free is so bad it scared me from listening to them for a while, I only knew that and feathers

That last “hear my voice” and “welcome home” on The Dark Sentencer still give me chills. What a song.

The chorus to Queen of the Dark is wicked good, reminds me of Year of the Black Rainbow in a good way

I create content for some of your favorite artists

started listening to this band because Kerrang mag gave them 4 K's for IKS. Hadn't even heard a song before I bought the CD. Fan ever since

“Bad guy, motherfucker, don’t want to hate or love you. Creature come and get it, creature come and get it, creature’s coming” has quickly become one of my favorite parts on the record.

I'm about to buy this just so I can listen to it enroute to CT tonight. Unless anyone's got an extra DL code they aren't using?

Hasn't been getting as much discussion as some other tracks but Night Time Walkers is great. Can't pinpoint an exact moment (maybe the bridge), the overall vibe is really cool though

Actually a big highlight on my second listen. Really like everything from Love Protocol onwards.

    “Are you ready?”
    “As the day we met”
    “You’re adorable”

I love when we get little bits of dialogue

I think this goes without saying but Coheed are the only band that could get away with an album this long

What’s everyone’s favorite Coheed and Cambria album? Mine is In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3.
But my favorite song is Welcome Home. I saw the music video on MTV and was blown away.

Also, see them if you have the chance. I went to see them with Taking Back Sunday and they put on a helluva show.

SSTB will probably always be my favorite but GA1 is probably their best? I could make a case for any of the first 3 I guess.

The more I listen the more I hear Year of the Black Rainbow in some of these choruses. I still like that record and think it could’ve been great with different production/mixing. They haven’t put out a record I dislike but I think this could end up being my favorite since GA1.

IKS easily. The rest all have good songs, but that’s the only one I ever really go back to in full.
