That's 6 I'm completely sold on being top-tier Coheed, with several more I still really like. I'd struggle to find many more than that from the entire NWFT-TCBTS stretch combined. So pleasantly surprised.

Great to see it getting unanimous rave reviews so far on Amazon (I guess that prob tends to happen a lot with the fans who rush to review it first, but still). Really hope they get the commercial success and wide recognition they deserve out of this.

 

I cannot get over how much I love this album. I did NOT expect to be into this album so much

 

Damn, this album is so good. It gives me such nostalgic vibes, but refreshed...if that makes sense.

Because of that I busted out my Live at Starland Ballroom DVD today and it still rips. Haven’t watched it in years. That dvd actually got me into this band.

 

It's really hard for me to pick a favorite right now, but damn this is good. They need to announce a tour ASAP. I wanna be in a crowd chanting "run run run run run like a son of a gun!"

 

Vinyl came in today. This thing is beautiful.

Jesus Christ love protocol is the best song I’ve heard from this band in ten years

 

It Walks Among Us may be a top 10 song of the year for me. I find it's the song I am gravitating towards from the whole album.

 

ok I get all the hype about Toys. that fuckin' opening riff is something else, goddamn.

 

I think I'm going to need a few spins for this record to completely sink in. It's not as showy as, say, their GA2-era work, but it's a lot more nuanced and intricate. I'm glad to hear their ability to meld proggy riffing and sing-a-long choruses is still intact.

This is one of my favorite parts as well. No idea why but it’s really cool hearing him.

 

Dude’s a good singer too, I’d love to hear him be the primary harmonies on a song instead of layered Claudio. Also, Josh is an easy guy to root for. Him and Zack seem like the most approachable members, and they seem down to earth and really appreciate the band and fans. Not that Claudio and Travis don’t though.
