jon lester looked pretty damn good but the bullpen not so much

 

Chip and Joe have sounded so over the Braves these last like 5 games lol

 

James Paxton's stuff is positively terrifying. Still hitting 100mph at over 100 pitches. Then the M's bring in one of their top prospects in relief and he's hitting 101.

 

Its a bummer to me, Diaz should've gotten a chance in the rotation first.

 

Yeah that sucked. Really wish Lester could've finished out the game so we could've gotten a shutout.

 

right they need to look for some bullpen help cause they was pretty bad

 

Andrew Miller and Aroldis Chapman for Kris Bryant. Lololol

 

Fielder, Choo and Andrus for Miller and Chapman. 3 players for 2, plus one of them is about the size of 2 so its more like 4 for 2. What a deal for the Yankees!

As much as I like him, Profar > Andrus, plus it'll free up money to extend Darvish and others.

 

Ya, but I dont care about what the rangers want lol that's the point. The Yankees also dont need Andrus at all.

Let's talk and speculate about which shitty ass Atlanta Brave will be on the all-star team this year.

 

Francouer, Mallex, Wisler are the only ones doing anything good lately.

 

Teheran is easily the best player on this team, but they won't let a 1-6 pitcher on the all-star team.

 

Can they just let chip go and wave?

 

Need to lock Desmond up for a couple years.

 

Cant profar really play anywhere though? I thought maybe he would end up at 3rd and Gallo plays OF. Then Desmond becomes even more valuable. Pitching is really their main issue, though they should probably find fielders replacement at some point soon also but that's not as big of a deal.

 

All of this is accurate but I see us dangling Profar and Gallo for a young controllable starter

 

Noooo! Ideally I wanted the gallo/brinson/mazara of with Desmond at ss and tex(or someone like that), odor and profar.

I could see one going but not both. I think their prospect pool is also pretty deep, they got hamels for two deeper guys. They could definitely get a solid guy for a similar deal, not an ace but a solid starter. They have a lot of prospects I like. (not a rangers fan, just a fan of baseball really)

 

There is definitely plenty of great things going for us at the moment. Good time to be a Ranger fan when the farm is as stacked as it is AND the big league club is better than anybody not named the Cubs.

That would be a pretty Amazing WS if you ask me, historical in many ways!

 

Isn't the draft this week? I think one of the guys that's probably going to be a top pick is from Mercer. My dad thinks the Braves are gonna try to get him. I don't know a whole lot about drafts bc they bore me.
