It really could be, or for all we know Mark and Travis brought in Matt just they could record new music to tour on and than in a couple years Tom will be back and Blink does a farewell tour. It's a pretty interesting situation.

I don't see Mark hanging up blink, Travis either, until they are physically incapable. I think they'll be playing into their 60's lol

Hell into there 80s and they will do nursing home headlining tours in the dining room. All tickets include chicken noodle soup, soda crackers and a coffee/tea bar.

 

I can see it now, Tom is going to go the route Kiss went and hire stand ins for Mark and Travis and have them dress and look like Marks and Travis.

 

Imagine if Tom came up with a conspiracy that since Matt was/is(?) a card carrying member of the Church of Satan, he had an evil plan to take control of the biggest punk band and that's why he was kicked out. Or something crazy like that

 

Hopefully we get a novel, documentary and AVA EP to help support his story.

 

They've said numerous times this is a 2 year cycle including touring next year so I call b.s. on that. It was just one person in here that supposedly knew something. And if Tom tried to force Mark and Travis to play with him, there's no way they would do it. It's obvious they haven't enjoyed being in a band with him for some time now. I don't see how they would've agreed to something that said Tom could come back in a year. From the minute they played with Matt they wanted him in the band. Why would they agree to some temporary workaround?

 

Ever since someone said Mark struggles a bit live with the vocal range on this song I can't unhear it.

 

It wasn't a matter of a workaround of who is in a band with who; I interpreted it as a legal issue of the blink-182 brand because presumably it's split three ways and some things might require unanimous agreement.

From the wording, I would guess it's a NEW single, not Bored to Death. I mean, you can't debut something that's been out for over a month, right?
