That sounds great, except I've never liked the backup vocals in the chorus when they play it live. Would sound better with just Matt singing.

 

Random story:
Coworker of mine hasn't listened to blink since Enema of the state. Needed me to cover his shift and I told him I'd do ONLY if he listened to Bored tO Death and told me what he thought. His response after listening was "I liked that WAY more than I expected to. I can get back into this! Can you burn me their albums since Enema?"....I had them burnt the very next day, today lol

I still use this archaic method for people like him that are not into the music enough yet to spend money, or for long road trips when I need the Aux port for my gps

 

This kid back in grade 5 gave me a free blank CD, and then hounded me for 6 years saying I owed him $2.

 

I'm pretty sure cassettes were still a thing when I was in grade 5 lol wow I'm old

 

If it makes you feel younger cassettes appear to still be a thing!

 

I truly do not like the way Matt sings on Always. I love Alk3 and his vocals, but I think it sounds really drowsy and monotone in this context

 

I'll tell you what. After years of dealing with Tom's garbage on stage...this is refreshing as fuck.

Mark completely ruined the 'With or Without You' outro. And I wonder if Tom's jealous of them finally incorporating U2 into their set.

 

I still listen to CD's all the time, and burn mixed CD's for my friends.

 

I mainly use Apple Music but I'll definitely be buying "California" on CD. Blink is best on CD.

I'm honestly surprised by how much fucking hate Tom gets... lol

it's almost like a sort of mental disorder... I mean: do you know this man? is he your friend? did you start a band with him? does he owe you money?

I mean, wtf

I honestly don't hate Tom. He was at one point in time my favorite of the Blink trio, and I was/am even a fan of AVA all the way up to Dream Walker. That being said, I do think his actions/quality of work in the past couple of years since DW have been subpar. I don't hate him, but I'm more dissapointed in someone I once looked up to. If that makes sense.

 

I'm not asking what Tom has done, I am asking why people hate him so much for what he's done...

their life must be quite stressful if someone doing whatever the fuck he wants irks them so much... I mean, are they ever chill... how do they deal with real shit... ???

 

I can get that, it's just the hate he gets is particularly vicious lol @BTDandFeelingThis

 

Again it's the internet lol. Hate in all forms towards anything is amplified on the net.
