Found a better podcast called "The Throwback Podcast" and they are going back to 2004, The Killers "Hot Fuss" Which is one of my all time favorite albums.

 

Wes was a weirdo sometimes.

 

I always looked at Limp Bizkit as Wes Borland & Co. Yes Otto is a good drummer, yes Fred Durst is a dumpster fire you can't help but watch, but Wes is the draw.

And I feel like he never could get away from Limp Bizkit, and do something grand to be known for, because he just has so much history with them he wouldn't ditch the band.

Wes in a real metal band would be a dream come true.

Edit: Also, his costumes are fucking amazing. I've gone down the rabbit hole many times googling photos of him.

YES!

 

It wasn't the best music on earth, but it was during that time and I loved it. Wes always kept things interesting on stage and videos so the costumes probably hid the fact that he couldn't fucking stand being in the spot light for "ok'ish" music.

I would love music from Wes, that would be fucking amazing.

 

Wes would slay you his level reading is like 6,666,666,666.
