I would take Matt's voice and guitar playing that is actually replicating the record over sloppiness and nasal slurring and mispronuncuation every single day of the week. Hell I'll actually enjoy this song live now lol.

 

Probably my favorite music video of theirs. Though the original concept for Josie would've been dope as hell.

 

Two entirely different songs there haha. Might just be me but I would love it if Travis just went nuts during the latter half of the bridge in ATST. I love the studio version but live, I get antsy for the outro chorus. Travis could give the bridge some flare.

Brad I probably missed it but when did Travis discuss a potential Rabbit Hole release? would be so stoked if that dropped this week

 

Finally got around to listening to Tom's To The Stars demo album from last year. A little better than I expected it would be but it was pretty weird too, especially when it starts to unravel in the last half.

 

I linked to it in my post, but basically some guy who was at the X-Games show was flying back to the UK or wherever, and saw Matt and Mark on the plane flying out there too. And he talked to them for a minute, got pictures with them, and got his Kerrang mag signed. But Mark and Matt told him that Travis would probably debut "Rabbit Hole" this week. So my guess is that maybe Travis will do a KROQ interview or something and will premiere it. I guess we'll see!

Matt does sound pretty good! Hoping this Rabbit Hole release pans out.

haha seriously. this "interview" was a waste. yours actually had questions that no one else asks them, i'm sure. especially about "not for real" and stuff. yours had some substance and knowledge and effort put into it. these ones are just fluff.

Poor girl, she seemed very overwhelmed which is understandable, but not the type of person that you want interviewing them.

well that's cool of you to cut your time shorter for other people. that must have been hard to do though, haha.

i really want to hear their unreleased songs. i hope they release them before they go into the studio next year or whatever.

I'm so so sorry lol. No one should have to deal with that album. And this comes from someone who is normally a tom fan.

 

"Endless Summer" is the only song I go back to. I need to trim off that horrible tacked on intro though, haha.

 

New World was the only one I found decent. Even then I haven't revisited it since it was released

 

I still like Ava and Tom stuff, but when it comes to demos I'm out. haha
