Big fan of Peel but there isn't a lip and you will have to get another at some point. They can get a little loose because there's so little material.

I have the Spigen Thin Fit on my X right now and it's saved me from a few terrible drops.

 

At this point I don't think I'll ever not just get the Apple Leather case. It's too good.

 

Thats one i never had for my Iphones that always look so nice. may go that route with a screen protector for sure.

 

Not the cheapest option out there but I really like Apple's leather cases. They feel good in the hand and provide decent protection without feeling super bulky.

 

I was totally going to jump on AirPods is there was a revision this week.

 

no lip sadly. i love minimal so i love the really thin cases. it's in the middle of protection so you have to be careful of not dropping it

 

I hear nothing but good things about them. I'm a big fan of the silicone cases too.

 

I haven’t used a screen protector for YEARS. Do you happen to keep it in the same pocket as your keys? That’s the only time I’ve though maybe I should get one but my routine has adapted to phone in left pocket, keys and wallet in right. Only sometimes do I have my hands full or something and put my phone with my keys.

 

What’s this? It just opens Instagram. Is this a new iOS 12 feature? I don’t need to be reminded to spend more time on my socials, thanks.

 

You know its always those one off situations where i put my phone in a pocket it shouldnt be when im rushing and i always pay the price. any little scrape or scratch kills my whole mood. So mostly use it to ease my anxiety. Hardly ever drop my phone.

 

Wait, can you not Play Next or Play Later on Apple Music any more?

I have the same Spigen case. I really like the feel of the leather apple cases, but I am trying to phase out leather and other materials and go with more animal friendly products.

This is me as well. Phone in left pocket and keys and slim cardholder/wallet on the right. I don't understand how people tolerate the wallet in the back pocket haha. Where my routine is admittedly inefficient/flawed is that I only use my right ear to talk on the phone. Going left pocket to right ear is not the smoothest transition.

 

Hahaha. SAME! I might as well be deaf in my left ear. I cup my ears at dinner with my wife because I can’t hear her.

 

At least we are going through this together! I am pretty split on having a dominate hand so I sort of blame that for being in this situation. I am naturally more left handed, but my parents were both righties and encouraged the right hand more when I was really young, so I am sort of stuck in between haha. Good news is that I am fairly ambidextrous. Bad news is that my body gets confused with which side is dominate and I decide a left to right workflow makes sense.

 

I’ve been having this issue where I can’t hit next when a song is playing. You know how at the bottom there is a little bar that shows what’s playing and it has a pause button and a forward button. That forward button is unclickable for me

 

Been doing some light reading on the new iPhones since my girlfriend is in need of one and she's interested in the coral iPhone XR.

But jeeze, is it really worth $750 to have a display with the same exact PPI as the iPhone 4 and no 3d touch? I wonder how cheap we could find a regular iPhone X for and if that would be more worth it? I guess Apple's website says the X is only from authorized resellers now

 

I'd expect when you're buying a new iPhone it's for the thousands of things it does better than the iPhone 4 than worrying about the PPI. However, a 6.1" screen, Truetone, 1792×828 ... is gonna look a lot better than the iPhone 4.

No idea where the previous generation X is being sold now, but I do know Apple's not selling it anymore.

 

Haha yeah it'll definitely be better in a million ways, I was just using it as a comparison to show how dated it is to have a display with pixel density that low. Definitely a good point on Truetone.

Still, I'm sure it'll be a great update from my girlfriend's 6S. We wouldn't be able to afford one outright, so it's sounding like buying the XR from the Apple store at a monthly rate is the best option for her.

 

Best Buy is selling them for $100 off now, so they start at $899. I had a customer come in last night who wanted one, but I told her to hold off. With the XR getting the A12 and some of the camera features for $150 less, I just don't see any reason to get one.

And that sort of hurts to type, because I love my X.

 

Hmm, the little iPhone icon is gone in iTunes when I connect my phone now. That's weird.
