So, got a date on Thursday with a pretty one who asked me out, as opposed to the pretty one I asked out. We've been chatting a shit load while she's been away on holiday this last week. Kind of intrigued to see how we are in person now. Fingers are crossed.

Yesterday was wild

I saw my first public proposal and it was so unexpected

Then I was in a Cafe for dinner and it was super crowded and so this couple was only sitting maybe six inches away from our table and they were so clearly on a first date I couldn't handle it. Was totally eavesdropping. Made me realize why I dread dating lol cause it was just that awkward getting to know you convo but in a rly crowded place with a band playing loudly so you could barely hear and then two assholes (aka me and my friend) sitting half a foot away who happened to be talking about divorces and too-expensive weddings and entitled men

first dates should always be at a bar for drinks or coffee. who wants to eat in front of a stranger

 

Well it's not a typical restaurant it is kind of a combination of all those things. It's like a Cafe and they also have a full bar and coffee and wine and they also have food like grilled sandwiches and bagels or delicious pizzas and you can camp out to talk and nobody cares and there's often a band so u can dance if u want. This couple just got appetizer plate things so they were all good. It'd be a pretty good first date spot like it's one of the only places in town with atmosphere lol this was just a crowded and loud week for a first date, but by the end they were holding hands so I think it went well.
