100% same thoughts. It sounds like he's referring to "Coming Home" but we've already heard about that unless Dan is only just posting about it. But I wanna stay optimistic that song was just "for the fans" and that the single is going to be bigger and released properly.

 

Totally agree with your sentiments. I feel like this is such a half-assed article with barely any information aside from confirming they've been signed.

The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards "Coming Home" being a standalone song and that we'll get an official, proper lead single they'll push heavily soon.

 

I imagine we'll get a big "comeback" single we haven't already heard

 

I'd be very happy if "Coming Home" was just a standalone "for the fans". Itd be really disappointing if that was the single Matt was hyping so much.

Yeah I saw it. Glad he responded. Those comments are dumb as hell. Charlie looked super into it to me. I've seen him a ton over the past 10 years and honestly he looks as happy and into it as he did with Fightstar/his solo stuff.

 

Apparently last night they said they're not going to play Thunderbirds anymore. Best news. I was surprised they played it in the first place since its the Busted song I imagine Charlie likes the least and I couldn't see him performing which was kind of confirmed when he didn't sing his part live. It's funny seeing how mad/sad a lot of fans are though, it's literally the last Busted song I'd want them to play.

 

Yeah, it seems Matt said they're officially "retiring" the song. I don't mind Thunderbirds, it's cheesy but catchy, I wouldn't exactly miss it either though.

They've done the fan service for this reunion tour but it's time to showcase the new stuff - which made Charlie rejoin in the first place (not to play songs he avoided for a decade).

 

Yeah, now the tour is out of the way let's start getting this album campaign underway!

 

I was reading an article I translated from Dutch claiming the album is coming in November. Not sure how accurate that is though since it didn't have any direct quotes or anything. Just please don't make me wait that long.

 

Yeah I really don't want to wait that long but I can see it being accurate. I need Easy now. I've listened to it so much already.

 

One of my friends mentioned how they said live (Wembley) that the album would come this 'Autumn'. Makes sense considering they've only just got a label, despite the album being "finished". Shame but sounds accurate.

 

Been following them on Facey. Confirmed today that album is done. Been in USA doing. Looks like they're having a blast too

 

I'd say it will be released October/November. Late September at the earliest. Most albums that are being announced now are September/October releases.

 

I've gone into a bit of a lull waiting for this. Once we get some information I'll start getting excited again, for sure.

 

I'm still clicking on every instagram James posts hoping I'll get some kind of clip or news, haha. I want it.

 

Looks like we're getting the album reveal next week.

 

Sensational! It had been a bit quiet

 

Saw them in my town the other night. Paid £40 for tickets to see them play for an hour when half the crowd got them for free from the council giving them away. Bit of a joke. Show was good but they obviously weren't into it, kept slagging off the venue (which is shit tbh), etc. even though McBusted has played the past two years and they didn't seem to have a problem with it then.
