Nine hour class ended two hours early

How is it even possible to have a nine hour class?

 

It’s a radio class where we’ve gotta produce an hour and a half long live show every week, so it’s really more like a day at work

Or like a paid internship

That I’m paying for

 

my history class does week long assignments and I am so terrible because I just hold it off until the weekend when in reality I should do it asap.

 

so we are suppose to post this on a discussion board so our classmates could read and we also do word count.

all my classmates word counts were between 500-700 and I am out here being extra and I got to around 900. Ether I am trying way to hard or I can actually write somewhat.

 

I have to do some message board shit tonight and I’ve been putting it off all week. It’s always just so much bullshit I feel cause no one really wants to have discourse (myself included) so it’s just a bunch, “wow, really great point ___! I see what you mean when ___.” At least, that’s my experience with message board stuff

 

On a scale of 1 - 10 how much is this semester stressing you out already?

I’m laugh at how excited I was for this semester. And to be fair, I still really enjoy being on campus and I don’t mind going to class but homework is the bane of my existence. I fucking hate homework more than anything

 

I feel the exact same way. This was me about an hour ago:

*Looks at physics assignment* Oh, it's only five questions. Should only take an hour or so.
*Clicks on first problem and sees parts a, b, c, d.... all the way to m* Well... it's a good thing I didn't plan anything for the next 10 hours.

 

Idk if it’s because I spent the summer hanging out with my nephews or what but I’ve become very attracted to the idea of being a teacher lately and I don’t know what that means for me

 

My classes for Thursday and Friday were canceled due to hurricane Florence. I’m expected online assignments from all of my classes.

for the first time in ever I actually got up at like 7:30 and forced myself to get up and go to school early. Now the question is whether or not I'll be productive

 

you won't / shouldn't be because you have an assignment to tell us about that super annoying girl in your class. get to it!

 

I walked into class today not knowing that there was an email saying class was cancelled sent out today. It was fun waiting a few minutes until someone walked in and said "hey class got cancelled"

 

My dining hall played ‘Turn Off The Lights’ by Julien Baker this morning. I love tears in my oatmeal.

 

Unfortunately I don’t even have an interesting story to tell. She just is the type to think she’s the teacher’s pet despite the fact that the teacher is clearly annoyed with her and with good reason. When she starts she just DOES NOT STOP. She also has this tick where she does this little coughing sound repeatedly but it’s not quite a cough. It’s all just very distracting. I’ve had classmates that were similar in nature but none so boisterous.

In other news I’m skipping my first class today so I can do my homework for the second. Classic.

 

I did that today! lol
I had my group presentation today in my 2nd class and I had to print 75 pages and staple them in groups of 3, plus since I was presenting I wanted to do my makeup yadda yadda and I wouldn’t have had time for all of that without waking up super early so yeah. Whoops.

 

I WISH that was what was happening.


I have another “group” presentation tomorrow (it’s just a 2 person group though)
This other girl has done legit nothing. It’s giving me so much anxiety. I haven’t done anything really either but I’ve at least tried to reach out to her and have some plan but she’s more or less blown me off
I’m just like...ok are we gonna go in tomorrow pretending we have something or what’s your plan here
