I've been underrating Heart Attacks. I really love it. Such a great chorus

 

The chorus makes that song. Great tune!

 

I’ve listened to this album at least twice a day at work. So good.

I love when the 2nd verse kicks in.

Felt the same - kind of what I expected a Matt Skiba + Blink combo to sound like

 

And may still get now that he’s been with them a bit!

 

That’s bc it has the same chorus as Good Old Days :P
Not literally of course but I feel like it’s a really distinctive-sounding/styled chorus that pops up across the scene/rock music somewhat frequently.

Edit: it’s a fantastic chorus, to be clear. Fav song on the record easily.

 

I’m trying not to overplay this album and I’m failing miserably. But fuck it, I waited five years for this thing.

Also Goodbye Fire Island is amazing.

 

I’m listening 2-3x a day, it’s just so fun. For better or worse I don’t listen to alk3 enough outside of album cycles to worry about burning it out so I’m gonna enjoy it as long as I can.

I've seen so many people over the last few days say this is the best album since Good Mourning and that Trio lost their way after that. I think every single album is amazing, including the 4 they released in between.

So yesterday for 4th grade the little dude had to gather up certain things and put them in a paper bag and show them in class. It had to represent what he did during the summer and his favorite subject. As for his favorite thing during the summer he took his ticket with him Danny signed aha. It was awesome because not one kid or the teacher knew who the Trio were lol.

 

Remember that one time when the cast of The Hills visited the A&I recording session for some reason

 

That always bugged me, I wonder if them being on Epic at the time had something to do with it.

 

I remember that and thinking how weird it was watching the hills kids talking about how up and coming the band was and how I’d loved them for years/albums before that.

 

Lyrics of Goodbye Fire island are absolutely amazing...it's more about the whole current world than just Fyre festival

 

I definitely think it has to do with both, I remember Matt saying I Can't Believe was going to be political but I don't get that vibe from it at all.
