I actually really like that he put ITTC? at the top haha.

I understand why he put 8 and 9 at the bottom too. Totally makes sense to me even though the two albums are way further up for me.

I have the original 2008 vinyl of the album, and man the sound is horrible. The volume is so much lower than on my other records. I'll probably try getting my hands on the remastered version too.

 

yeah, that kinda bummed me out

 

So every time I listen to this album on Spotify (on Web Player, because work) it cuts off the end of Lions and skips to Krystalline. Has this happened to anyone else?

 

I am loving this album. Love that these guys are still going strong.

Demon and Division has quickly entered my top 5 Alk3 songs.

This album might end up as my #2 from the band, right under Good Mourning

My essential Trio albums are easily Good Mourning, Cursed and Crimson. In that order.

 

We did a bracket awhile ago but I would def be down to do it again lol

 

Matt and Dan singing together on the bridge of Demon and Division is probably my favorite part of the album.

 

I'm pretty positive I won't be able to keep this out of my top 3 behind only FHTI and Good Mourning. I don't think I can say it's better than Crimson for what they tried and succeeded at on that, but this just nails everything I want from a Trio album

I can't say with certainty that it can't move up on my list tbh though

MSIT/MICF

 

Yeah this album won’t be displacing GM, FHTI, GD, or MICF for me but in time it might replace Crimson in my top 5. I certainly love it though. Those albums are just too near and dear to my heart.

 

Yeah I feel ya. My ranking pretty much just goes on what I foresee listening to most in the future and all the early stuff is still special to me. It just seemed like after Crimson there was a demarcation line that they weren't going to crawl back over for me, and I couldn't be happier they did and then some. I know a lot of people have some of the newer stuff high which is cool, I think all Trio is quality and I like seeing how when people got into them changes their rankings.
