I think this is kind of cool. It's clear they are just trying to cut out the middle men at this point and just work directly with their fans. Which is what Max's goodbye letter started to lay out, and what this solidifies.

The one thing that seems questionable to me is the song shop compilation. Only because.. is he saying these are like songs from the sessions he never actually delivered, or is he actually giving out 25 people's songs. Cus isn't the whole point of song shop kind of that it's a song just for you. But also maybe he just asked the people if it would be ok - who knows.

They've already got almost $30,000 which is awesome. I'm probably gonna do the Take Down the Moon EP and the Fun Bundle when I get my next paycheck. Now let's see if I can resist the temptation of making Max cover a Paramore song.

While I have no care for the well being of terrible men let's be careful to not put any victims in a situation where they have to disclose information they don't want to/aren't ready to, give information that allows people to connect it back to them when they have not consented to that, or puts any victims in possible danger.

 

Posts like this are getting so old. If you have an accusation to make and you want people to know about it, then make it. If it's not your accusation to make, then (privately) consult the person in question about whether or not they want to make an accusation and whether or not they need your help. If none of the above, then find a better hobby than making anonymous pseudo-callout posts on public internet forums.
