In other news I’m back to the tinder/Bumble/hinge pool of perpetual sadness

 

my Facebook relationship status is always its complicated just to mess with people.

 

I made a match on tinder and she is great so hey I can't wait until she unmatchs

 

I don't see this often, but I vividly remember this couple in my high school changing their relationship status so it said "it's complicated with ****** ******" and being so confused by the whole situation.

Then they broke up the next day and I commented something along the lines of "that's simpler" and they both unfriended me

 

I haven’t it never really occurred to me to do that.

 

I'm on Hinge now so this is fun.

 

It’s probably my fav dating app it just sucks that no one uses it in my area.

 

I'm still trying to learn everything about it but yeah I noticed after a few people it felt like not many people on it.

I hide my relationship status as well and have for a very long time. Not any anyone cares about me anyway to know what goes on in my life. When my bf and i became official I thought about changing it but didn’t want to jinx it because I didn’t know how long we’d last. Then I felt like too much time had passed to change it so I don’t even bother now.

 

I hid it when i became single rather than broadcasting that to everyone haha.

Girls still do that? I honestly don't think closure is a thing, just an excuse to see/call/text someone.

 

Closure is for sure a thing. When I was 8, I didn't believe that my g-pig was dead until my dad showed me the body. After that, I had full closure. Onward.

 

There are at least 5-6 girls that I've hurt/wounded in the past (because I was a selfish shithead) that I have been wanting to reach out and apologize to for years. They've all moved on and have better lives but I still think about it all the time. I don't know how much closure that would bring to them or me, but I definitely feel like I owe it to them.
