I do try to avoid discussing her or their relationship specifically when this stuff comes up, but the idea that people are saying it to "ruin his reputation" sucks because besides obvious reasons, he has two albums worth of songs and a whole book that give his views on women in his life and in general and they're not good. I get very irritated when older adults frame him as a sweet baby angel who is being slandered because he's questionable at best and that idea is harmful to young adults, and was to me.

 

I think Pete has a questionable past for sure ie whatever went on with his ex seemed toxic af and I'm a believer that even if someone is age of consent, if one party is older while the other is barely an adult I think it's a sketch power imbalance. Not to mention him going on in details about sex with Ashlee Simpson on Howard stern which was also gross imo. I do appreciate that there is some growth in their lyrics and those themes don't appear to be present anymore from what I know. At least lyrically things have grown which leads me to hope that they have as people idk

 

There have been way more Pete Wentz stories than just the Jeanae ones... for starters, he owned a club in NYC that got shut down for serving alcohol to underage girls – repeatedly (I think they got six citations). Famous band dudes went to that bar to play sets. I think you know where this is heading.

 

I totally forgot about that bar. I remember being a teen and wanting to go so badly smh and I know other girls on lj (lol this story is dated) talking about sneaking in or wanting to sneak in.

I don't know where this is heading ... fake ids? Band dudes sleeping with people under 21? There was a livejournal group a while back dedicated to sneaking in to that place with fakes.

These were posted in The Orwells Facebook breakup post. A majority of the other commenters replying were calling this person out so I’m not sure what to make of it. The band in question is Twin Peaks who are also from Chicago. Apologies if the pictures do not show up, I am on mobile and will try and fix if any issues.

i reread the thread and it seems like she just wants them to break up for no reason? I didn't see any accusations of abuse. Am I missing something?
