In the context of this being their last album, I'm disappointed with the new songs (besides Mene, I like it). If it wasn't their last album I'd be totally fine with this new stuff.

 

Yes, lets go years in between albums and then release 2 in 2 years. I don't see it happening. At all.

Seriously though, I have had what's probably going to be the album for quite a while. And insider info? Oh god it would make you fucking cry what I know about this band. Even if Brand New "breaks up" in 2018, they'll probably come back around once Jesse's kid grows into his own abit. Mark my words, 2022-2024 they will do a reunion tour.

You used to be pretty much spot-on with the things you disclosed about Brand New. I know this because I was somewhat around during the Leaked Demos/TDAGARIM era, and I remember the veiled certainty you used to speak with.

After that album, though, your approach radically changed. I don't doubt that you hear some rumors we don't, but I also don't give a flying fuck because they're just rumors. You clearly don't have the same kind of pull with the band that you used to. You're reduced to dressing up educated guesses as if you know what's going on these days.

 

I literally released the name of Daisy and spent months talking about the album and typed up full lyrics from the songs to people in the old BN thread ... you have no fucking clue what you're talking about.
