I second this. I had a blast last year at Riot that I booked my flights and airbnb in march and bought my tickets in may. But if I had to do all that now, I wouldnt be able to go for the prices and my job

Random question: do you think Spitalfield is going to play an aftershow?

I really hope so. Definitely seems possible.

i've stayed quiet on the complaining front, since it doesn't really matter much because I've already got tickets and travel plans booked...and i know people have been saying it daily...but I REALLY thought we would have it today, especially after last friday's email. I guess here comes another weekend of speculation!

Somebody on Reddit is saying that the site changed to: "More bands, single day schedules, and more coming soon."

I'm not reading into the change from "2nd wave" to "more bands" (because really, it's the same thing). But good to know that we'll probably get the bands and schedules right around the same time/day.

Still bullshit that it just says "coming soon," though without a specific day.

Also sounds like the schedule will be released at the same time as the daily lineups, which makes sense this late in the year.

Definitely this. It's hard for people who are still on the fence to decide that they want to drop everything with only a month to get everything in place like flights, accommodations, etc.

    They'll definitely do a warm-up show.

FWIW I just checked and it actually says this exactly: "Second wave, more bands, single day schedules, and more coming soon!" So they didn't delete second wave, just added more things to it, which I definitely take to mean then that we should pretty much expect all that at once or very quickly once the first is announced.

At this point I can't imagine they announce second wave without day by day lineups. My best guess is we get 2nd wave bands and day by day next week (and at this point Gaslight Anthem makes a ton of sense), and then we get the schedule the week after. I don't think they'd announce schedule and day by days at the same time because they want people to buy tickets without knowing conflicts.

I remember 2014 where we didn't get a schedule until the week before the festival. I was told by people who worked for the festival that it was because they originally had Joan Jett on after Gwar and she refused to play in that slot.

This all makes sense. And I also agree that there might be something to them now waiting until after Gaslight plays tomorrow.

I watched Lagwagon play ‘Let’s Talk About Feelings’ unannounced in London last week and it was glorious. You’re all in for a treat!

I'm game for wherever. Uptown Lounge also isn't too bad if you don't mind a dive/5 AM bar.

I’m good with wherever. I’m actually heading to the venue now, trying to get close for this one haha

I’ll be the short haired guy in glasses with black shorts and a gray Thursday shirt.

Haha only about an hour in line isn’t too bad. Figured I’d make it count since I made the drive from Michigan
