Off-putting things about people

What are those things that bother the hell out of you when you first meet a person?

My biggest one has to be people who think that cologne or perfume is masking the fact that they smoke two packs a day. I have no problem with smokers, but the combination of the two things is putrid.

People who carry around bottles for their tobacco spit are awful as well.

 

If someone talks on the phone walking up to a cash register or ordering food or whatnot.

I could provide a loooooooooong list of similar type things from years in retail.

 

people that walk slow. people that stop suddenly and stand still in a crowded area. people that stand in doorways.

 

People who talk loudly in public and forget to use their inside voices

When someone I don't know calls me buddy, I'm not a golden retriever don't call me that

 

People who tell me to use my inside voice. I'm gonna wild out and you can't stop me.

 

People who try and relate with me about nerd-culture but only have a basic understand via films they've seen. Happens every single day at work and I want to vomit.

 

You're nerd? You like Big Bang Theory?

People who make threads about off-putting things about other people

 

I once did that at a food truck; the guy demanded my phone and then proceeded to tell my mom how rude I was and how I lack manners.


She was super offended and thought I was going to be banned from the food truck. I was standing there laughing my ass off.

 

I also call people buddy.

 

Or people that talk in the bathroom on their bluetooth headset. My gf said that she actually heard both sides of a phone conversation on speaker phone while in the bathroom last time.

 

People who take the middle stall when there are two on either side can fuck right off. I don't need to smell your dookie.

 

I hate super negative people who start listing off why thing don't like something after you've mentioned it like they have to prove a point.

 

But I really don't like people telling me to use my inside voice.

And I really do call people "buddy."

People, including friends, who talk to you at the urinal especially when there is no dividers drive me crazy. I literally cannot pee if someone is next to me, I definitely can't if you're looking at me and talking lol

 

Really close talkers. I can hear you from back here, I promise!

 

No problem with that at all. Unless I'm drunk, I don't use urinals anyway.

 

Good thing you never had to do Army urinalysis. Those things are impossible for me. They watch so close.

 

They'd be waiting awhile. If I go into one and it's so crowded I'll stand there a few minutes and pretend to go and then just leave lol
