Pretty sure it reached the point where hating on them has become a cliche. Or maybe it reached that point for some time now

 

I actually was at the movies last night! I thought I was gonna have a bathroom episode but itnpassed

 

I never hated them, just thought their second record was a massive disappointment. Third record might be their best one tbh

I liked a few songs on their first album, but I just feel like they kept on putting out the same album. They’re just not very interesting imo

I agree. The first few songs were fuckin bangers but I quickly grew tired of them. I never straight up hated them or anything but I just had no interest.

 

I was like 18 when they were at the height of their popularity, and I was also in the most pretentious phase of my music fandom and I remember I hated them because all these people I knew that heaven forbid liked a band all would about how amazing they were and I was mad because nobody would give Algernon Cadwallader the love they deserved

My group of friends and I were super into Mumford and Sons in our senior year of high school. Blasted that shit every Friday and Saturday night.

Second album was a snoozer.

Their newest album I have almost ignored completely because I thought it looked like they were trying a little to hard to go “look guys, we can really rock!” while also sounding a bit Coldplay-y from one of the songs.

Maybe I’ll try to give it a fair shake.
