It has the best soundtrack of any Godzilla film to date as well.

Godzilla 2014 is the only time I’ve been so into a movie I jumped up and celebrated in the theater when something in this case, the atomic breath de-heading of the Muto happened.

2014 Godzilla is meh, but last year's Kong movie ruled so hard.

Conversely, 2014 Godzilla rules and last year’s Kong was extremely underwhelming.

i didn’t love 2014 but it’s one of the most visually stunning major blockbusters we’ve had in a while, right up there with fury road

But Kong has a scene where a gas mask-wearing Tom Hiddleston slices flying monsters with a katana sooo

    Also John C Reilly.

I'm not sure how this MonsterVerse works but I guess I'd get the gist from previous films. Always did fancy the look from them, just never got to watch them.

Do it, the colors and cinematography are awesome and it's a 100% self aware blast.

I also really loved that Godzilla (2014) trailer that utilized Györgi Ligeti and ended up not liking that movie so who knows if I’ll like this, but I maintain that the trailer is top tier.

Godzilla was such a bore for the most part. Some really great stuff in there but overall just boring and horrible human characters.

My favorite thing Godzilla did was star Bryan Cranston in it immediately after Breaking Bad when he was HUGE.

My favorite thing Breaking Bad did was hire Bryan Cranston shortly after the role of a lifetime as Hal in Malcolm in the Middle. My second favorite thing was when he was hired for Malcolm in the Middle after his stunning character work in the OG Power Rangers

Same. Also did it when it’s revealed to be Rod at the end of Get Out.

Loved Godzilla. Watched Kong on tv a few months ago and thought it was fun. John C. Reiley is the best.

"Hear that? Sounds like birds, but its fucking ants."

    *edit*
Shin Godzilla is tight and more or less a live action EVA at times.

Godzilla 2014 was great every time Godzilla or Bryan Cranston was on screen, I was pretty bored through the rest. Skull Island was more fun overall.
