Starting to hit me now that yesterday would very likely be my last warped tour ever. Now I'm sad lol. What will I have to look forward to every summer now?

How is parking in Keybank tomorrow?

Very big gravel & grass lots, easy to get in, annoying as hell to get out of. Parking is free though, if I'm remembering correctly.

Anyone know what bands are selling CDs for $5?

As It Is said they were selling their new one for $5, but also that it comes out in a month so idk if they just meant like preorders or if they actually had physical copies early. I just haven’t seen it leaked yet but I might’ve just missed it.

This Wild Life’s new album and The Maine’s acoustic album. With The Maine you also get Love Little Lonely when you buy the acoustic album.

From what I saw most CDs seemed to be $5 at the record label tents. At leats 95% of the ones at Hopeless and Pure Noise ones were.

I remember the Maine and This Wild Life and $5 CDs, though I didn't really look for most bands.

Beat me to the punch by a second. Funny we highlighted the exact same 2 bands

My souls evacuated my body today during ETID. I can’t beliece I’m seeing them three more times this summer. I’ll be dead by West Palm.

Sorry this will be long, but I went to Holmdel & Hartford this weekend & had a blast both days. I was a little worried about Holmdel being a disaster since it was sold out, but it just seemed like another day at Warped to me, aside from the main stages drawing HUGE crowds. I didn't sit down all day at Holmdel, & sat literally the entire time at Hartford. My only regret from the weekend is that I should've seen Best Ex in Holmdel since they only played 1 date; I usually have a plan down to the minutes of water & bathroom breaks, but their set fell through the cracks unfortunately. I had seen every band multiple times before except Issues, Movements, & Capstan. I was kinda bummed at Issues setlist, but I'll catch them again sometime. Broadside could've played a tighter set, but it was still pretty good. There really weren't any moments over both days where I saw any bad performances.

Hartford was actually quite a shit show. The main stages were in the amphitheater based on a judgement call at 7 am of a bad forecast. The storm ended up missing us, & the amphitheater was PACKED. Security was holding people at the top where the lawn meet the seats because it was too dangerous to have anymore people in the pit. Apparently a lot of people couldn't get remotely close at all to see a bunch of bands...

Having been to Holmdel the day before, I opted to get a seat in the amphitheater early & hardly move all day & it was great. I caught everyone I wanted to see on the Mutant/Owly stages in Holmdel (Capstan, Senses Fail, Don Broco, Harms Way, Broadside, Grayscale, Every Time I Die, Deez Nuts). I had to sit through Falling in Reverse unfortunately, but aside from that everyone ruled on the main stages. John from The Maine appeared to be some kind of fucked up during their set, just really bizarre stage banter & behavior. I've seen them at least 10 times & have never seen him like that. It didn't impact his singing though, so it was kinda fun. During Bowling for Soup's set, when they usually do their "photo op", they instead announced a lesbian couple's names... And one of them proposed to the other. Warped Tour engagements rule... Reel Big Fish played horns during 1985 & that was super cool. 3oh!3's crowd was insanely huge at Holmdel so I walked past it. I watched it all in Hartford, & I saw that the drummer was female but couldn't see who she was. 3oh!3 gave her a shout out, & turns out it was Jess Bowen from The Summer Set, which got me hype.

It's sad to see the full cross country tour go, but I'm sure that things like the cruise will still happen. I was hoping that there would be a few older punk bands on the tour this year, but a lot of the bands have played tons of times (Reel Big Fish, Simple Plan, Every Time I Die, Mayday Parade, The Maine, etc) so that's cool. All in all, if your date is coming up & you're debating going, go. I'm super envious of the Florida people who get New Found Glory...

Is it that difficult to get Led Zeppelin to make a guest appearance for just one day?

Wage War had the biggest pit I've ever seen at warped tour yesterday. That was way different than 2016 where I had no trouble getting barrier and I was one of the only ones at their meet and greet. It's awesome to see bands like that grow.

I actually seen this one. The guy said he didn't want to leave the pit and not be able to get back in and he's had to go to the bathroom for 2 hours.

I briefly left the amphitheater to go check out Wage War's set, & I shit you not I saw a tornado of dirt over the pit. On top of the heat & no shade, I only lasted a couple songs, far from the pit haha.

Jeez... it really was a disaster. I understand that Warped did it in the best of intentions for weather and safety concerns, but it could've been planned a bit better I think. I'm not sure how, but that's not my job. On the Hartford Warped Facebook event people were bitching, & the Warped Tour account said, "We'll try harder next year" haha

Honestly the weather forecast for Chicago on Saturday is really bumming me out

Lots of time for that to change. As late as Saturday they were calling for a chance of Thunderstorms tomorrow in Toronto. It's now hitting today and might leak into the night before clearing up at about 3am and we'll have a Sunny Warped tomorrow.

In Hartford yesterday they made the call at 7 am to move the main stages inside because of nearly 100% chance of thunderstorms, & by 1 pm there wasn't a cloud in the sky the rest of the day. Don't let weather get you down, go have a blast!
