Coffee just showed up on shuffle and it's my first time listening in a while. Damn thing chokes me up nearly every time. Might be a Copeland day.

 

I wish it was a new Copeland album day.

well, I was hoping for an autumn release of some sort ;( but I'll wait! please don't scrap it ;d ;d

 

Rookie of the Year released a 4-song covers EP and “Erase” is on there. It’s a pretty unremarkable take but it’s cool to see that little bit of recognition.

 

Went back to check that out, and found out they'd had another cover EP with covers of The Dangerous Summer etc., but couldn't find it. I'm listening to the new one, and it's nothing special, but Erase is a tight choice! (edit: I also like Empty House, I mean, the original, so their version is again something cool to hear).

 

ROTY opened for Sherwood last year and they played Pin Your Wings for soundcheck. Ryan seems like a pretty big Copeland fan.

 

Woah, that should be an incredible show

 

This is the kind of thing (maybe because I live in the UK and have no chance of seeing it in person) that I would love to have recorded and released as a DVD. One can hope.

 

Have Copeland ever played the UK?

Regardless, so thankful this band is back, making music and playing shows.
