Y'all my family is so obnoxious. Of course my brother posted pics on FB of them shooting their guns to "celebrate their freedom." Rolling my eyes right out of my damn head. I'm the only one who doesn't own a gun and refuses to so I constantly get shit on. Like my nephew got a gun for his last birthday (he's 11.....). I just do not get it.

Still looking on StubHub for harry styles. Prices about same as last time I posted about it but i checked to see how much tickets in the section I'm in are selling for in case I sell mine for better seats, and yeah they're selling for astronomically less than face value so I'd lose a ton of money ha ha fun. So jealous of ppl who live in cities and can buy cheap tickets the day of! I always wanna, but with hotel and sometimes even airfare it can be too risky for me just on the off chance something happens I like to know I have my tickets but then this happens and I get sad lol

 

if it makes you feel any better I live by a major city and am really bad at being spontaneous and would be anxious about using Stubhub

 

Stubhub can be good occasionally. One time I took my girlfriend to a Halsey ticket and got tickets for $10 like 20 minutes before the show started

 

I have a legit internal panic mess thing when I use ticket resellers which thankfully is not often. I'm convinced it will be a scam and I'll die, even tho I think StubHub finds u seats if that happens. When I saw bruno, my friend got the tickets even tho I usually do and she thought Vivid was the legit firsthand site and I was like noooo. I was convinced we were booking an Airbnb and making these plans for scam tickets, tho thankfully they were legit. To this day she insists his official site took her to Vivid and I'm like sis no just admit u clicked the first Google result lol

 

that happened to me once where I was buying tickets to a hockey game and I guess they were fake and the morning of my drive stubhub called and said we got hooked up with seats up close(I bought seats in the top area)

It was cool but also now I'm even more paranoid about stub hub.

 

I feel like you'd appreciate that literally the only concert I've had Stubhub tickets for was Jimmy Eat World

 

Nooo this is a good but terrible story.

Years ago my dad used StubHub to buy my stepmom nickelback tickets and they were not legit. Well I assume usually they're legit tickets but the person has sold them to others so it already shows they've been used. StubHub offered other seats tho. But still seems stressful.

 

It sucks that stubhub still seems like the most trustworthy out of all of those sites when even then they still have scammers there.

 

Even if you get scammed tho that’s the positive about using stub hub because they got your back in that situation.

As for waiting until the last minute I too think it goes against everything in me lol but my ex’s mom really showed me the light on that one. She (and my ex and I by extension) got tickets for dozens of “sold out” shows, typically in very good seats. I know she got front row or third row tickets on numerous occasions. Of course these are still face value bc you’re buying through the official seller and not someone desperate to get rid of tickets at the last moment lol but still!

 

Yeah I've gotten into sold out seats the week of because some house seats or whatever became available but that felt lucky

Except it’s not lucky it happens every show! I was such a skeptic but I saw it enough times with huge artists that I’m a believer now. You just gotta check obsessively week of/day of.
I saw fob/paramore from the first section even tho it was sold out previously. shows my ex’s mom got front rows for include pink, one direction , Keith urban, and a few others I’m forgetting but always at big arena type places

 

So I saw harry styles and I'm still like in awe and denial that it happened lmao. It was rly good! It's so cool that he plays One Direction songs. They played one over the speakers shortly before he came out and MY GOD you would think by the audience reaction the band themselves had reunited lmao it was cute tho. The audience rly made it for me. They were so cute and happy and hysterical that it added to the aura like u were watching the Beatles or something. And I know he's big but its wild that he can play solo in the arenas One Direction would play

 

conundrum.

i have an interview today at 2 pm in a different building than mine on campus. i haven't told anyone at work about the interview, because why bother the potential backlash (i love my current job, not even sure i would accept the new position if offered).

and about 20 minutes ago i found out that a department meeting - including my managers - that takes place during the same time of my interview is now in the same building. a building that only has one entrance (so the likelihood of running into each other is very high) and of course all the conference rooms are in a row and all contain glass doors and walls.

what the fuck do i do.

 

can you possibly reschedule the interview due to an emergency? because that is definitely an "emergency."

 

I didn’t know where else to post this: has anyone had any issue with a rotten egg smelling sink? Recently my bathroom sink has started to smell like eggs after I run the water. I tried the baking soda vinegar thing followed by hot water and it didn’t work. My findings were if that didn’t work to call a plumber. Has anyone had to go thru this before?

 

Is it like sulfuric smelling? Mine used to do that in the bathroom and I'd just hope it would go away and it would so I ignored it oop

 

Yeah it’s sulfuric smelling. Maybe I need to let the mixture take time to work? I’ll check again when I get home from work. I ran the water again before I left and I don’t think I smelled anything.
