Silverstein/Anti-Flag seems like a weird combo to me, but I’m all for it

 

Good Charlotte show just announced at the Riviera in Chicago 11/4

 

Yeah can't say i've ever imagined Silverstein and Anti-Flag

 

Only really was into Youth Authority, and don't really like anything pre-2007. Granted that last single was a BOP, but since GC are largely a nostalgia band so the majority of the set will probably be The Young And Hopeless (blegh)

I’m curious about that Irvine date. That has to be a festival of some sort he’s playing, because that amphitheater is 12,000 capacity, and (I mean NO offense to Danzig by saying this) I don’t think Danzig is big enough to headline that amphitheater on his own...

 

These shows are being billed as his “last shows for a while,” so that could potentially increase ticket sales. But I do agree with you.

He did a Danzig Legacy show there back in 2012

His October shows are typically Blackest Of The Black tour, so perhaps the final Irvine show is going to be another festival version of it.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if Silverstein/Anti-Flag/Cancer Bats was a Canadian tour.

Silverstein usually does a string of dates to warm up for for their holiday fest. This could very well be that.

 

Presumably the Anti Flag run is going to be fall/winter as they're opening the Rise Against/AFI "Mourning In America" tour through 9/30 (final date on that is in Irvine, CA if anyone's trying to guess routing).

 

Don't know if anyone here cares but Lil Dicky announced a few fall dates today, including one in St. Augustine so I'm stoked I can use my company's corporate seats.

 

Incredibly fun-looking music/comedy/comic con festival happening in OC in November. I am too excited for this

 

If I lived in a three radius of that festival, Patton and Jim Jeffries alone would be enough for me.

 

The individual-Day lineups are already up and it works perfect my for me. Saturday has more comedians I’d like to see than bands, and Sunday has more bands I want to see than comedians. And it’s only a short freeway drive from where I live. It’s beautiful

For a second I thought it was the band Life Lessons with Lil Dicky opening and I was so confused.
