Anyone hear anything about the A-market DGD headliner yet? It probably won't be announced till after Tilian's solo tour, but I'm starting to hear rumblings.

 

That is exciting. I hope their support is awesome. I missed them on their headliner with Veil of Maya and then when they supported Underøath.

 

Update on The Maine speculation. This post makes it sound like 8123 Fest where they'll also be performing all of CSWS. But don't they really not like that album?

Yea they don’t like it but it would be awesome to hear it played in full. Maybe they will do a full tour playing it in full but I doubt they will.

 

Nope but I’m curious about it and wondering about the support.

 

They aren't doing anymore headlining tours this year, so that's out.

A headliner??

 

Just curious if anyone had heard anything about this. Someone posted on Twitter there was 'proof' floating around that Brand New booked a show in Ohio and a show in Pittsburgh for the fall. I wasn't able to find it on the site they claimed it was on...anyone hear anything about this? I know there are rumors about them headlining Riot Fest so now I'm thinking they could actually be booking shows again

Can't confirm anything Riot Fest related but I've heard they're going to tour later this year.

I probably shouldn’t have used the phrase “shitstorm”. But imo, Brand New shouldn’t tour and should’ve just ended it after everything about Jesse emerged. I look forward to seeing people protest their opposition, yet also not looking forward to the actual announcement because I know people will be very angered, and I hope people speaking their voices can maybe prevent it from happening

The Maine announced the 8123 fest and they are playing Cant Stop Won’t Stop in full on Jan 19th but also doing a show on Jan 18th and fans get to pick the set and then on Jan 20th it’s a free meet n greet with the band it’s in Phoniex Arizona. I honestly may fly out to this.

 

I think it's more just the way your original post was written you said you were "Excited but terrified of the shitstorm" as if you were excited for the shows themselves
