That's higher than any other Champs record has hit according to Wikipedia so I guess I'm not that surprised.

 

MN Warped rarely gets above 80 Degrees. Last year it was like 74.

Has anyone talked to Real Friends and heard about a fall tour yet?

 

I met Dan at the Pomona date and didn’t even think to ask! Poop!

 

So last year in Albuquerque, it was a high of like 106 or something and sunny but this year, I’ll be at Denver instead which will have a high of 83 and be cloudy :’) I’ll probably be able to watch so many more bands this year

 

They're pretty much guaranteed for a headliner. They'll be pushing the album. Don't worry too much!

 

Has anyone gone to an acoustic set that they won through the Fend app? I was wondering how those were going.

 

You can find a lot of vids from those if you see the instagram posts Waterparks are tagged in. I think about 30-40 people at each date are allowed. (The technical difficulties set Waterparks played on the livestream is the same is what they perform at the sets)

Waterparks is backstage at a fend tent, We The Kings' seem to be at other locations within the festival area. Both are about 10-15 mins from what I've heard.

 

I was at Waterpark's acoustic set in San Diego. There were like 50 winners and someone from Fend take us all to the band buses parking lot, where they put a little tent. The winners sat on the floor and the band played 3 songs, and that's it, Waterparks return to their bus and the winners went back to the festival grounds.

There were some girls hoping to meet the band, and one guy was hoping to at least see Mike Way from MCR. None of that happened

 

Yeah I figured as much, Tyler from Homesafe said they're touring in the fall I just didn't know if RF had said anything about openers at all

 

Going to Denver after all. I’m planning on picking up some vinyl, I’m guessing it won’t be a problem at the venue for me to take a backpack with a cardboard mailer inside? Never been to this venue so I have no clue if they’re strict or not compared to what I’m used to.

 

I’ve got a couple of questions if anybody would be kind enough to answer them.

How hot does NY get in July?

How much is a beer at the festival and how much is a beer in the NY area in general?

MN warped date was above 90 in 2015 and i think 2016. I know for sure 2015 cause i was dumb and wore all black and jeans. Last year was comfortable temp wise. Hopes the same for this year. I do not want to be on that parking lot in 90 degree plus temps.

 

Chicago is always 90+, hoping Bonner Springs will have a different story!

 

The Camden date should have a surprise guest as there is room for it so who do you guys think it could be? my best guess is The Wonder Years

Ryan key is hopping on a couple dates, Camden is one of those dates. I’m not counting on the other spot to be filled because the owly stage currently has 15 bands on it on our date so they’ll probably just bump someone up

now they just need to announce NFG
This just means at my date there won't be a conflict with the owly stage when he's on lol. saw some of his set when he opened for NFG and wasn't really digging it

 

According to both Warped and Ryan’s Instagram, he’s gonna be playing a Yellowcard set. I thought he’d really focus on promoting his new EP more

 

I’m surprised too but I mean Ryan Key playing Ryan Key songs doesn’t really belong on the main stage. Hopefully he plays a solo song or 2 at least.
