News on once the clouds are gone. Prestigious

"good" probably isn't the word but very useful in certain lineups, very much yes.

  3. I would disagree completely. You can very much look at what teams are the best ever through a variety of metrics from games won, point differential, and the like. It's the '96 Bulls and the '86 Celtics coming in at a close second. I would also disagree that it's just noise. I like it. I like thinking about the historical context of the this Warriors team. That's why they went for 73 wins, because of the history. They're gonna win the championship now and it's interesting to think about.

I'll be very surprised if he continues to shoot that well against Golden State

I dunno, I don't put a lot of thought into it. I actually kinda like it being divided by something other than region. The divisions could use some work, though. Dallas in the NFC East?

  6. He could shoot horribly in the last series and still have been very good in the playoffs.

Time for the Cavs to find the same stroke from 3 that they had against the Hawks.

  9. LeBron's -43 versus the Warriors this year is the worst he's ever had against a playoff opponent. This could be very ugly.

I don't care what he's done in the playoffs. It doesn't change the fact that my favorite team drafted him with the 8th overall pick in 2005 and he was absolute trash.

    Let me be unreasonable here.

  11. Kyrie's defense is going to kill the Cavs in the finals. He needs to step up there.

  12. I assure you, if we somehow get swept in embarrassing fashion it will not be because of a SSS +/-
If minuscule sample sizes are suddenly predictive, I will point you to Kyrie playing extremely well defensively in the first game of last year's finals.

It's incredible to me that he finished worse there than he did against the Spurs in his first Finals. His Finals last year felt like an All World performance compared to that series.

Edit: But either way, go Cavs. Do something wild, JR. Save us from this repeat.

  14. If you don't think the games this year were predictive of what's about to happen ... ok. That's totally cool. I mean, I'd believe in my team too ... but I think that the numbers are interesting, and I think they point to the Cavs about to get slaughtered in "can they win a quarter" kind of way by this Warriors team.

  15. I feel bad for like actual Cavs fans, not my "it'd be fun to watch them win while I cheer against the Warriors" side. Cause they're not even as good as the Thunder were in this series and this has #thesadness written all over it from the outside, like I'm already feeling bad for what is about to happen. It's going to be a bloodbath against Kyrie and Love.

Gonna have to play Delly/Frye big minutes and hope Shump can come up defensively against Klay. I truly fear that this is gonna be ugly and the amount of shit thrown toward LeBron for losing again is going to reach epic levels. Especially coming from the Silicon Valley cockiness bandwagoners. This is gonna be bad.

Yeah I think the dubs will really attack Love and Kyrie in pick and rolls and have a lot to exploit there. Also don't think Cleveland will have the length and athletes that really bothered GS.

  19. Barkley picks Cavs to win.

    It keeps getting worse.

If Durant decides to leave it would be a huge mistake if it wasn't to San Antonio or Miami. I want him to stay, though.
Also, Warriors in 6. It's going to be painful for the Cavs. Go cavs, though.

Why would it be a bad decision for him to go to San Antonio?
