time to figure out why everyone has been telling me to listen to this band

 

think they should have switched the last two songs as far as sequencing goes but this is spectacular.

 

Man I'm trying hard to figure out the lyrics to doomtech lol. I got "everytime I close my eyes I crash a thousand cars and all my loved ones die/surging with the urges to mutilate" and that's it

 

"Old Data in a Dead Machine" gave me techy Deftones vibes in the middle

i feel like i'm not usually the type of guy to go "this album is a gamechanger" after one day but like.... this FEELS like a gamechanger

 

The second half of the title track reminds me of like Poison The Well or Cave In.

 

Damn, this record is awesome. Can’t wait to see them again

 

hopefully now that they have a full record out, they'll play longer set. my buddy saw them not long ago and said they played for literally 5 minutes.

 

That’s crazy, they played at least 15-20 when I saw them last year

 

There were a bunch of bands on the bill so I guess they were strapped for time, but apparently it took them longer to set up/tear down than they actually played. He said it was 2, maybe 3 songs and that was it. I'd love to see them live at some point though. 15 minutes seems perfect, since that's probably about the longest I could survive in some of their crowds.

 

Ohhh that sucks. tbh before this record I'm not sure if they even had 20 minutes of material haha. Seems like just the right amount of time

 

thats why i didn't trek out 40 miles to catch them last time they were through, but i would definitely not pass them up if they come again

 

It definitely sounds like something that could have been on Tear from the Red

The tour with Twitching Tongues, Show Me The Body and Code Orange is gonna be insane.

 

this is real good reminds me of some of the good metalcore out of the late 00s like norma jean and the chariot

I am in on this.

 

After a few listens, this will likely be top 10-15 of the year for me. This fills the void in my heart that was left there when TDEP broke up pretty nicely.
