I like Nicki's part, I like when Ari is singing. I don't like when Ari is kinda rapping, I don't really like the music

 

it's just weird and not very catchy and doesn't really make sense as a song and doesn't use any of ari's strengths

 

I haven't heard the song yet but holy shit @ Ariana and Mitski releasing their albums on the same day. I can't waitttt

 

Ariana’s parts were fine but I thought this was underwhelming. Nicki adds nothing and the music isn’t good. Still extremely excited for the rest. Album art has already grown on me too.

What on earth is this Fergie slander the Dutchess is one of the all time great pop albums, that's like all I listened to in 7th grade and is arguably the first album I ever truly loved

 

this song isn't bad, but after releasing a top 3 song in her discog, it's a bit disappointing.

 

I feared the Pharrell songs were going to be bad and this isn't really helping calm my fears :/

That was... really painfully mediocre. Honestly I hate to say it, but Pharrell's been really inconsistent lately, hasn't he? It wasn't that long ago that everything he touched turned into a hit.

 

Inconsistent is definitely the right word. He still has made some GREAT stuff, but there's been a lot of not so great recently along with it

 

One funny thing i’ve always noticed about Ariana is how bad she is at lipsyncing in her videos haha.

Fair point. I feel like he had somewhat of a resurgence earlier this decade though. At least in terms of hitmaking ability.

 

i guess he's never been quite this bad but after man of the woods i'll never trust another album in which he appears in the majority of the credits
