The first thing I thought of when I saw the album announcement was your post, lol.

 

Arctic Monkeys and Gorillaz should both have "The" before their names just to make things easier in conversation.

 

It always feels natural to say those imo but I feel that way about Talking Heads

 

Haha I just always go man, "so I was listening to The Gorillaz" and someone would go "you mean, Gorillaz. A real fan would know there's no 'the'" and I'd be like "...it's just easier..."

 

I always say The Talking Heads and The Pixies
