I Know How to Speak is so damn good. Wish it was on the album.

 

As great as it is, I feel like it would be like listening to Shame after listening to 23. I want to find a place to slot it in. It's gotta end with The Silence!

I’m late the “ the parts” discussion, but I like the song a lot. I’m glad it exists and that we have it. I also have a major attachment to it because I became a father about 6-7 months before the album came out, and really relate to it... having said all that, it does kinda kill the flow of the album for me as well. I find myself getting distracted waiting for the silence to start.

 

Seeing them again tonight at Boulivardia! Wondering how the set will differ from the tour last year. Loved how many songs off of Black Mile got played on the last tour but I expect they'll mix it up a bit for a festival.

 

Looks like they've been playing the same set at each festival they've played this summer.

 

Festival is always an energetic ‘greatest hits’ set.

Especially when your newest record is as atmospheric as Black Mile is.

 

I got to go out and catch up with Mike, their stage manager, the night before Boulevardia. It was a great weekend all around! The set was great and all bangers.

Slightly related to MO...one of their fellow Athens, GA artists just released an excellent third solo record today. They've toured together in past lives.
