he actually sounds energised on WTT which is nice, but he either gives up on a lyrical theme after a few lines (No Church in the Wild is really frustrating for this) or doesn't have the charisma to keep up with Kanye who was at his peak

 

Really enjoyed KSG after mostly loathing Ye.

 

Yeah I enjoy this quite a bit.

On almost every track though I wish they would've fit in another verse or two rather than repeating the hook over and over and over and over

 

Want to get home so I can download this.

 

WTT is the one I never return to. I think I like almost every track but I’ve never cared for the sequencing of that record. The shotgun intro of “No Church in the Wild” followed by “Lift Off” has always been really weird to me.

Really liked KSG a lot though. More my style though I think it also suffers a little from sequencing issues. I really love “4D” “Reborn” “Cudi Montage” and “Feel the Love”.

 

Lift Off for sure should have been.....left off.

 

KSG is good. Gotta listen again. Massively better than ye.

 

Lift Off is easily the most underrated song on that album and I have said this same thing SO many times on this site or AP... the way the beat switch happens with Beyonce's hook towards the end and her vocals are chopped up into the beat is just amazing, few better moments on the record

This feels like a little too slight overall length wise, and a couple tracks have the same half baked bullshit going on as Ye, but this is pretty damn good overall. It’s legitimately funny how good Kanye raps here in comparison to anything on Ye. It’s honestly not even close.

Ye, which is bad (don’t think I’ve chimed in on it here yet), does feel like it plays it a little less safe musically than this, which I guess is a slight knock against this. But this is just worlds apart overall.
