i'm going to have to force myself to watch it. for just how dead inside i am, all the "local" stories (raleigh durham chapel hill) that I was around for make me feel really, really bad. heh.

i'd love for "them" to do something on Michelle Young. Case was bonkers (even if the husband toootally did it)

Okay I was so excited to start that show and went to start it and realized Its not out yet!!
So I started watching The Wire instead. This isn’t on Netflix tho so I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up lol

 

The Break continues to be a lot of fun.

 

I like the segments but the fake commercials are terrible.

 

agreed. hoping they get better as time goes on. but they are also short so they really aren't the end of the world.

 

I watched all 3 seasons of Trollhunters in like 3 days. That show was soooo good. The animation and design are top-notch.

 

This is what I'm saying! It's amazing. I finished all 3 seasons in 2 or 3 days and just restarted it from the beginning. Such a great story, animation, and design for the trolls. Can't recommend it enough.

 

I'm in the middle of Part 3 of Trollhunters. It's a great show. I wish more people watched that and Voltron.

I'm also on ep2 of Evil Genius. This story is wild.

 

And we’ve got two sequel series on the way too!

 

One season deep into Les Revenants. Fans of Twin Peaks, The Leftovers, and creepy/surreal/small town stuff would really like this. I've heard the American version is not good so I'd choose the original French version.

 

If I can't get my daughter to start watching Trollhunters with me again I'm gonna have to start watching it alone

 

the new John Mulaney standup was pretty good, thought his bits about “street smarts” and the “horse in the hospital” both went on just a touch too long, but he’s always good for some great laughs.

Coco was fantastic as well.

 

Watched Ibiza tonight. Holy shit, it’s bad.

 

I contend that any movie that ends with someone being so bad at their job that they can get fired and start their own company with a multi-million dollar account with zero backing or experience at running a firm they're apparently going to make from scratch ... is in fact a great movie.

Make only bad choices, get the guy AND get rewarded! Win/win/win.

 

Did you guys like Stretch Armstrong? One of my fave Netflix Original Kid shows! Idk if there will be a second season, but they followed it up with a sequel that was like a "choose your own adventure thing" and my son loved going through all the choice options with me.

Yes, it's honestly up there with some of the best shows I've ever seen

 

I binged the whole thing a year or so ago. I honestly don't remember a lot of the plot, but the acting was great and I remember being affected by it. Recommend it for sure.

 

I watched the first episode last night and it seems like it could be pretty good. The plot is certainly interesting.
