Ironically, the last unexpected variant I received was Dustin's Carry the Fire, although I ordered that from Amazon well after its original release.

My order just arrived and the same thing happened to me. Not a deal breaker to me either but I was really looking forward to that limited edition version.

 

What time when they went on sale did you guys preorder?

I grabbed mine almost immediately after they went on sale.

Did you get any extras with the record?

 

I'm sorry, but if the limited edition doesn't arrive I will be pissed. That's the one I ordered, that's the one I should get.

 

Midnight when the pre-orders went live. The record comes with a download voucher card and liner notes; unfortunately no commentary from the band on each song, as in the past.

 

I'd say I ordered mine within 15 minutes of the preorder going live. Mine came with a download card and lyric booklet.

 

By extras I meant, signed litho, shirt, hoodie, slipmat.

I definitely ordered mine in that time frame as well.

 

Still bummed I wasn't online when preorders went live. I still got the 180 g black, but pictures of the grey look so damn nice.

 

No, I just ordered the record by itself. I'm worried now that all the limited editions will be sold out by the time I try to get an exchange.

 

I only ordered the vinyl and it was probably within the first 10 minutes of the preorders going live.

 

I just think, this community isn't very big here on Chorus, so for three of you to have the same issue is worrying.

Hopefully they prepared for this kind of issue, but in a limited variant I'm concerned they're prepared to the degree they need to be.

 

Yesterday when I talked to them about not even shipping out my package, they told me they have very limited quantities held over for just this occasion, I specifically asked about the variant. Hopefully they still have some more left over.

 

Makes several of us hoping for that.

 

Whoever said The Window sounds like a heavy, guitar-based Radiohead song was spot on.

 

Album is glorious. Loving it.

 

For those of you trying to nail which Radiohead riff "The Window" sounds like, it's pretty similar to the second half of "Paranoid Android."

I just listened to it this way and I like it.

 

Hurricane instrumentally sounds like it could have been pulled from the most recent Baroness album. Love it.

 

Looks like there are quite a bit of people receiving black who ordered the smoke variant.

 

Hearing the album this morning as opposed to last night.. I actually like it even better now on my third/new day listen. This is a really solid album.
