You've got something insane coming, haha. I love it. I'm super cautious about saying anything about it because I think the less you know going in the better. There have been some legit terrifying moments and I'm all in on the mystery. Also the (spoiler under pg 200) arraignmenttotally took me by surprise.

 

Starting it today!

 

Be ready to read the first like 100 pages because it starts at full speed and you won't be able to put it down.

 

The spoiler you mentioned REALLY got me. I was like “SHIT we’re doing this?” Then the part I last read was a real eerie, spooky part.

VERY into this one and so happy there’s 300ish pages left!

 

I did some marathon reading to the finish. Couldn’t stop. I’ll wait for spoiler talk but I loved it and definitely found the mystery came to a satisfying conclusion.

 

I know what part you are talking about being spooky and that was like my big ohhhh fuuuck this is King and no one does it like him moment.

 

Read the first 100 today. Might just block off tomorrow to read the whole book.

 

I’m on 355 - this is getting crazy. Hoping to have time to finish it tomorrow night or the night after.

 

I'm 60% done (my kindle version annoyingly doesn't give page numbers for this book) but I'm loving it. I'm amazed King has been in the game for so long and still has ideas left and the ability to still write great books.

 

Can’t find The Outsider anywhere in my town so I’ve started reading 11/22/63 instead. Maybe by the time his next book comes out I’ll be finished

Finished the Outsider! Overall heavily enjoyed this one. First 200 pages may have been the most invested I’ve been into a book in a while.

Now to choose my next King novel...

 

I just picked up The Long Walk. Haven’t read any Bachman since I read Thinner back in 2000.

 

A car crashed into a Little League game. The ‘brave’ man who died saving kids had a dark secret.

This story seems straight out of a King novel.

 

Wow. No kidding.

 

My boss recommended Desperation. He’s a massive King fan and said he loved this book so I’m gonna give it a try!

 

Looove Desperation and the Regulators.

 

Starting Desperation as we speak, then The Regulators.

 

Ok so in regard to The Outsider (major spoiler) Are we all agreed that El Cuco is like the psychic vampires from Dr Sleep? The glowing veins of light being The Shining. Also adds to the whole thing of him wondering if there are others like him (besides just drawing the parallel to Brady being evil). Also, it look like Holly has a bit of the Shining in her, which I don't remember picking up in the Bill Hodges trilogy

Finished the book yesterday, and I thought some of the same things.

 

Book is phenomenal, by the way. Moving onto Sleeping Beauties next.
