People on reddit are saying Marks instagram is just road cases for their video equipment for tour, but I don't think a bass amp would be "video equipment".

I was almost positive Mark stated in an interview there was a video, meaning already in existence.

The thing about Matt using Orange amps is how much better they'll sound live. Tom's Vox's just did not suit the medium/high gain distortion that is the blink-182 sound. Back when he used Mesa's the sound was so much fuller.

 

It wouldn't make much sense to me for this not to be for a new song.

 

It's for bored to death. Mark and travis' drum tech both posted photos with bored to death in the caption.

 

I mean the song's done so well, it wouldn't make sense to not make a video for it. I mean the lyric video is as boring as a lyric video can be lol.

 

Will it not be weeks before this is released? That's weird and disappointing, but hopefully we get a new song by then anyway.

Do videos normally get released 6 or more weeks after a single? I haven't kept up with a band doing this sort of thing in ages, but with the album right on the horizon, it just seems kind of late to me and weird because it feels like there should be a new single by the time this video gets released.

 

For me it's the natural progression. Release the single, release the video some time afterwards. Still hoping for a new song, though.

 

I wouldn't think a video isn't going to sell all that many more copies / downloads of the song this late after its come out.
If I was spending the money I'd rather lay down my $$ on the a video straight away for the 2nd single 2wks before album release to hype it as no2 won't have the mainstream anticipation that a 1st blink song in years had
