Yeah. They probably just didn't know what to do with Felicity since she no longer has an actual job haha.

Ha, true. But they haven't known what to do with her for awhile. Give her an excuse to leave town too. That would have been preferable.

True. Maybe she could've gone to find her dad since Donna basically forced him to leave.

I'd like that. I think her and her dad were good together. Her mom is a very irritating character, imo.

I guess this finale wasn't a winner either. I was kinda hoping Sara would show up, haha.

I agree. Donna had some good moments, but I was mostly unsure why they had her show up at times when it seemed extremely unnecessary.

    Now my watch has ended.

    I'm out.

  8. Echo Kellum (actor who plays Curtis Holt) was promoted to series regular for next season so I don't know why they kept Felicity around whatsoever. He can fulfill her tech role and seems to be better liked than her (which isn't too difficult to achieve).

I sort of thought Curtis was going to walk in at the end and then the implication would be that he and Oliver would be starting up a new version of Team Arrow. Which would have been promising. Glad he's going to be a regular.

    What a weak ass finale.

Hopefully they can pull it together for season 5

Hopefully with less characters they can focus on the main ones a little better.

They need new writers and new stunt people.

Which episode was the one directed by the stuntman/stunt coordinator? Let him do more stuff.

I don't know, I think both this and The Flash still have the elements necessary to make them great. I think this season of Arrow started out with a ton of promise. I didn't necessarily love the direction they took The Flash at any point, but there were some great episodes even in spite of that. Both shows ended their seasons with what were essentially resets. Get some new writers, some new people to run the shows, and get back to what made them great in the first place. And stop fucking killing your characters.

Love it. The salt on that sub has been great this year (and deserved).

Didn't season 2 of Daredevil kind of suck too? I haven't heard many good things about it. Not a good year for comic book shows.

  20. Jessica Jones and Supergirl were pretty great.

The first half was really strong. It kinda fizzled out with the lazy introduction to ninjas.

I didn't enjoy Jessica Jones, felt wishy-washy in terms of it's tone.

I liked it. Wasn't as strong as season one but enjoyed a good amount of the Punisher stuff.

Huh, I stopped watching a few episodes into season one after Kingpin decapitated some dude with a car door. Did not understand why that show had to be so gratuitously violent. That stuff usually doesn't bother me that much, but that show made me feel physically ill.

In that respect, season two wasn't as intense I think. Kingpin is on a whole different level than anyone else in the show.
