I think I’m kind of ready for Kate to move on. Although to be fair she’s never been my favorite cast member. I just feel like she’s outgrown the show to a certain extent.

I can't tell if I laughed more at the Safelite sketch itself, or the actual Safelite reaction TO the sketch.

 

I totally forgot about Safelite but then remembered the company freaking out over it.

 

To be fair, it is kind of crazy that they would use a real company and portray an employee as a borderline pedophile.

Yeah they did like the week after it aired, when Safelite raised a big stink about it. Really unfortunate but I'm sure you can find it out there somewhere.

 

It was a parody of Safelite’s actual ads, which is why they used the name. Wouldn’t be nearly as funny if they made up a company for it.

 

I'm sure she will next year. Her contract is up after the 2018-19 run and she'll get a good idea on her draw with The Spy Who Dumped Me this year and Danny Boyle's next film in 2019.

Otherwise, they don't really let SNL people out of their contracts unless they don't want them back. No way Lorne would ever drop her.

 

I love Kate on SNL, one of my all time favorites. Her movies though? Oof.. I hope she stays on a few more seasons

 

Also, I thought the Safelite sketch was one of those "integrated ads" things they've been doing where they cut down on commercial time by essentially airing sketches that double as advertisements. I could be totally full of shit tho idk.

As far as Kate goes I really enjoy her on the show but that Hillary Clinton performing Leonard Cohen thing is like one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen on national television.

Pete getting tattoos to commemorate a relationship after like 3 weeks at least shows he's exactly how he comes across

 

I've seen people who also have the disorder say that that's pretty in-line for someone with BPD so I don't wanna drag him for this one. But man, that Hillary tattoo....
