Not Now is my favorite song, so I really hope they do play that.

 

If they're making a point to rehearse it (and post about rehearsing it), you've gotta think it will make its way in there for at least a portion of the tour.

 

Sure it will be in the rotation but probably not an every-show song.

 

Feel the same. I expect a number of songs to rotate in and out.

 

If they do rotate songs in and out it will be unique to their other tours. For the most part their set list have been stagnant.

 

Basing those thoughts solely on them rehearsing 35+ songs.

 

Gonna drop something here, did anyone else tought that blink should have had phases like when metallica were all long hair, and then everyone in metallica cut their hair short in the 2000´s? i mean blink-182 members with beards all serious would´ve been awesome lol

btw, is somebody here going to the bethelem show? i´m going and i'm traveling all the way from south america just to see´em. figure out am 28 and i can afford that now by myself. lifetime dream about to be completed June 23.

 

Idk about the rest of the reunion but during that initial first tour they would switch out violence/obvious and then going away to college/don't leave me for a while.

 

Did anyone ever find bootlegs from their untitled anniversary shows? Would love to hear that.

 

I get that, but I mean that was 2 songs out of a setlist of 20+. For the most part they have stuck to their comfortable set list, which is ok, fans know what they are going to get. Other bands like Foo's, PJ's, etc switch it up quite a bit.

Personally, I would love them to turn the setlist on its head and pull in some pretty unique songs, but that doesn't sell tickets. Hopefully at one of their last shows (which I am going to) they will feel free to add more of their catalog.

 

If they do end up rotating setlists we can then conclude it was Tom wanting to do the same one over and over, giving us even more reason to like Skiba in blink better.

No, you can't. People need to stop extrapolating every decision these guys make to some newfound freedom from the grips of the dictator Tom DeLonge. They rotated songs in the past, albeit not to this extent. They even had an acoustic stage in 2013 where they did SUPER rare stuff like "Wasting Time" and "Give Me One Good Reason."

In all likelihood, this new version did a top-down look at how their live show operated and decided it would be fun to add more songs.

 

Also something to keep in mind; IIRC their somewhat short sets were because it was Mark whose contract limited the length.

Not sure about that. Mark has always been insistent on playing the singles/ "songs crowds want to hear." On flip side, I do think Mark is responsible for wanting to play older stuff too.

 

Blink will be in Kerrang on June 1st.
