For all their faults, I still love the MCU films. I had to grow up with Batman on ice and Tobey Maguire in superhero movies so I’ll deal with problems here or there.

Oh and the abomination that was X-Men 3, that too

Hot take: Logan was a much better movie than Infinity War.

I loved Infinity War and it was all the fun that was promised, but I genuinely think Logan’s got it beat.

I still haven’t reached a point where I can turn on Logan and not be entertained. It’s the same with The Dark Knight.

    The villain in Logan sucked

  6. The progression and weird levels of powers is still an issue in the MCU. (The sidelining of Hulk made that weird for this kids movie too.)

  7. I didn’t like ‘Logan’ that much and it’s definitely better than this. That’s not really a hot take. (Last two MCU movies are better than this.)

I still wish Hulk would get another standalone movie but people probably wouldn’t be that into it.

  9. I would. Especially after seeing what they did with the last Thor. That could be a really good and creative movie.

I was hoping that World War Hulk could’ve been a thing but that’s pretty much impossible now.

SORRY MY TAKE WASNT HOT ENOUGH FOR YOU JASON.

I hope at some point after A4, maybe once we have Reed Richards, everyone thinks the Infinity Stones were destroyed when they beat Thanos but actually they secretly form the Illuminati and each are now holding one and their egos run wild while they go on power trips. Basically give me Time Runs Out as a movie.

  12. Now if you woulda said ‘Man Of Steel’ was better I’d call it a :fire: take. That’s worthy of the fight.

Does Paramount still have the distribution rights to any solo Hulk film? I know both Feige and Ruffalo said that Ragnorak, IW, and A4 will be a complete arc for Banner so they might have given up on the possibility of any solo films.

Universal still retains those rights and basically refuse to give them back.

Marvel doesn’t own Hulk as a stand-alone character, right? Universal would have to agree to partner with Marvel (ala Sony) to make another Hulk film. I would love to see it, though. It seems like Marvel wants to use Hulk beyond the contract they have with Mark Ruffalo. In Ragnarok, Bruce mentions that he could turn into Hulk at any moment and never be able to turn back. That’s an easy way for Marvel to avoid re-casting the character.

I don’t see why. There’s no point in having them if they will never be given another Hulk movie to distribute. Pretty petty.

  19. As someone that loves comic books and movies, I am sorry for wanting them to be better. This defense is just silly.

I went through some pretty wild emotions while watching Infinity War. Some of it was excitement and some of it felt like anxiety due to watching my favorite characters get smacked around and/or killed.

Universal should have loved the re-casting w/ Ruffalo since their experience with Norton was shitty. But they didn’t seem to show interest in teaming up with Ruffalo/Marvel to make a IH2.

It all boils down to money. The MCU is big enough now that any new film is guaranteed to do $100 million, no doubt that Universal wants a piece of that pie since they have the rights so Disney/Marvel are playing it in a way so Universal doesn’t get shit.

After a second viewing I still enjoyed it and felt a sense of dread as things played out. I would still rank it as my favorite MCU film and the best thing Disney has released in the live-action category since 2014. Now I just need to get more hype up for Ant-Man and the Wasp. The after credit scene already hasme hyped for next March.
