If he's doing something good for Chicago then I hope it helps the city. But that doesn't begin to forgive him for aligning himself with the man who uses Chicago as a racist totem to say black people are scary and violent.

 

Inb4 he announces that he’s running for mayor.

 

Imagine checking a Kanye thread and feeling personally attacked by the wildly strange MCS opinions.

MDL is a fantastic album, although it has one or two tracks (History Lesson, the one with the weird title) that I find a bit subpar. Her Words, Skin and Bones, The Weakends are all top tier songs.

Go is a good but ultimately very patchy record that still gave us some fantastic tracks like Timelines and Floating Down The River (which I maintain is one of their best songs).

Panic Stations is boring but even then has one or two fantastic songs.


Also: Green Day have sucked since 21st Century Breakdown (which could have made a decent 8/9 track album but was too bloated) and the trilogy is one of the worst pop punk releases from a "big" band I have ever heard.

The 1975 are great but they make their albums too long and have too much filler.

 

Thinking ILIWYS has a single second of filler is wildly strange my man.

 

I would ditch Please Be Naked, Lostmyhead, The Ballad of Me and My Brain and This Must Be My Dream.

 

This must be my dream is a jam. You could make a case for the others maybe but I don’t buy it

 

Please rethink all of these, king!

 

I think all of those are better than like 80% of MCS's last three albums and I love that band.

 

Please be naked is essential smh

 

Just my opinion but those three are really weak for me. I get why people would like them, but they don't work for me.
