The Hold Steady are doing a Constructive Summer tour this summer. Three different cities. Venues and cities TBA on May 7th.

July 26-28
August 2-4
September 12-15

 

Going to assume it's Los Angeles, Chicago and New York?

IDK. I know Deep Purple said they may not do another big tour after this stretch, but they haven't confirmed anything one way or the other.

So according to Wikipedia, Talkeetna has a population of just under 900 people. Can someone explain this to me? Why exactly are they doing this?

Think about it. That town has absolutely zero going on, a band, that plays music, no matter what will be the talk of the entire town that night.

 

Also, people from all the small rural surrounding villages will go hours out of their way just for some fun

 

To be honest, can they actually headline decent sized venues in 2018?
