It does kinda seem like they’ve fallen off these days. What have they been doing lately?

Releasing a single and teasing everyone by not releasing an album, and drawing massive crowds whenever they make a featival appearance, hence creating the appearance of success despite not actually doing anything

Opening for Taking Back Sunday/Coheed and Cambria this summer and most likely dropping an album mid-summer or early fall

TSSF is okay, but State Champs is far better tbh

The last TSSF album was easily their best yet, though. I will give them that. The Punk influence was more obvious than in their past work.

Does anyone else think there will be more bands switching up setlists each date? I can picture senses fail, the maine, mayday parade and simple plan changing the setlists each day

Just gonna say that this is obviously satire

I mean they literally say it in the last line

    "Drugs and fucking
    Damn, I love it
Maybe I should drop it, pick a different subject
Maybe it's deliberate if it's lacking substance
Baby, you still listen so I know you love it
    I know you love it"

The purpose of the song is to make fun of how the prevalence of drugs and sex in culture get them more exposure, popularity, etc.

I think Simple Plan rotated last time they were on, and they only played for like a week. They're the type of band who are gonna have a few must play hits, but will probably rotated 2 or 3 of the songs in their set

    Things have changed.

    Regardless, that band sucks.

You're honestly the grumpy old man of this forum and I honestly don't get why you feel the need to say anything at this point

That’s what I was thinking with a lot of these bands, I feel like the bands who’ve been on a lot of times especially are gonna be rotating a few songs each date

I know Less Than Jake had a rotating setlist in 2016 too

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Oh yeah. I was super bummed because they played Gainseville Rock City on almost every Warped date that year but they didn’t play it at my date :(

I don’t see Mayday rotating songs they never been a band to do so even though I hope they do play some old deep cuts from Tales By Dead Friends, Lesson In Romantics, or even something from Anywhere But Here.

Sleep On It said they want to be able to rotate songs throughout the tour

I'm almost 28 and feel like the grumpiest people on this board are younger than me. Wack.

I hated the "this new era of Pop Punk, Metalcore, etc. sucks" crowds when I was 15 and even more now.

If you grew out of it, that is totally fine and understandable. But dudes I went to high school with who still blast All Time Low and We The Kings laughing at people who like Waterparks and As It Is is just goofy.

If they do a coheadliner would like to see it with like Mayday Parade.

I’m 35 and while I’ll admit I don’t know everything that’s popular I do listen to newer stuff. I didn’t know waterparks or as it is till the warped announcement and now I love them. Same with grayscale, crown the empire, and the interrupters. Some stuff I don’t get like issues, the Maine, real friends and knuckle puck, but I gave it all a try.

Problem is now I have too many bands I want to see. Luckily I just saw simple plan at Disney world so I can skip them if need be, but these none main stage bands are really going to throw a wrench in my game plan I’m sure.

    Senses fail
    Grayscale
    Crown the empire
    Broadside
    As it is

Probably the only chance I will get to see these bands.

They’ve never done it on warped, but the past two us tours this did which were anniversary shows they rotated songs, and with new songs to come it just becomes harder to make 30 minute, 7 song setlists and it being “the last one” I’m sure there’s songs they’ve wanted to see make light at warped and try to promote more of their music

Or in Florida, a 6 song 25 minute set

  21. I know they're still tight with RSG so I wouldn't call it impossible.

With florida landing a month later, and being the last few dates of the last tour, I could see that changing

It rains here every single day in the summer. Sometimes for 10 minutes, sometimes for 4 hours. It's just a thing you have to deal with here

Ohhh I thought it was more of a heat thing, yeah that makes sense

Nah it's never too hot. Beau Bokan once said that if you stand still too long at Warped in Arizona your shoes start to melt. It's never been that bad here.
