Still can't get into this, or get over the bizarre song naming system

if all the songs were named "i hate zmtr personally" i'd still listen to this every day

Nah, it's on top of not liking the songs themselves; don't hate them because of what they're named

I admittedly never return to this album, but return to the other BI records fairly consistently. Album just didn't do it for me. Song names didn't make it worse, but kept me from remembering the title of a song that had any moment I particularly enjoyed. Here for the next one though!!!

I'm drunk listening to this (a surprise to nobody) and I don't think I'll ever get over how much better 00000 Million is live. Something about the album version sounds off. Probably my favorite BI song lyrically.

I’m seeing this performed at Bonnaroo in full and I’m going to be so emotional I can’t even. Also my #1 show to be in the pit for

It's become one of my favorites on the record. The bass live is almost enough to literally knock you on your ass.

Exactly, I think that's what did it for me. I won't forget the explosion of sound in 33 "GOD" live either. What a great show, lighting, visuals...wishing I could see him again soon.

Definitely listen to this version if you haven't. He doesn't use the samples in the chorus and BELTS the lyrics in replacement instead. Also the outro is sung by a choir.

Yeah, I mean it’s going to be special because I was living off rips of the live Eau Claires performances for months before the album was released, and it’s one of the first times I’ve done that for an album cycle. It’s going to be incredible to cap off the cycle with an actual performance, reflecting on everything that has happened in my life between those two moments. I’m also in the midst of a major life change too, and the Eau Clares performance was the soundtrack to the beginning of this change.

Hopefully that gives some more context :)

I feel this/love this so much. 22AM came shortly after my life came crashing down and ended up being the soundtrack to me falling in love with my future wife. We've already been to 4 shows together. After this summer it will be 7.

Please remember to bump this thread after the show so I can read about your experience.

Definitely! This album has soundtracked so many things in the two years since I’ve heard that first rip: me getting to my lowest point emotionally, almost going to jail, rediscovering myself, bonding with my friend who lost his mother, and finally getting a new job to move back home. To be able to stand at the end of that proverbial tunnel, one month after moving, listening to Justin performing this...I can’t say for sure how I’m going to feel. This is one of the most important albums of my life, and it makes me sad that people don’t connect with it, because not only do I have the emotional connect to it, but it is unlike anything I’ve ever heard in my life.

I'm all for it haha. I'm stuck at my apartment because I was in a gnarly car accident last week. Just put on the NPR set to keep me company.

Was driving home from an S. Carey show in Detroit and got ran out of my lane. Had to dodge a classic Michigan pothole and completely owned a curb in the process. I'm still a little sore but am ok. However, my car was considered a total loss.
