I could totally see Reigns dropping the belt to a rejuvenated Wyatt for a few months in the fall and then having another Shield/Wyatt match somewhere in there

 

Fake Kane was the worst, such a horrible storyline. I'm pretty sure fake Kane went over real Kane also, bravo WWE.

I agree that although it wasn't the best match, it was solid and fit the theme of the PPV. This match shows that Dean can do extreme things and makes the match with Lesnar at Mania look even weaker. I thought there were other cool spots other than just the tacks which was really neat. Admittedly, I am not into ultraviolence, so this PG violence was enough for me.

Yeah that has to suck but he is the top guy in the company. He can probably take solace in that.

 

So Extreme Rules was my first live PPV ever. Man I was not disappointed. I know it may not have been the best card overall, but the Rollins return alone made the whole night worth it. I did some light cheering/booing here and there throughout the night but needless to say, after he came out I lost my voice completely.

As far as the matches themselves, I'd basically echo the same sentiments I'm seeing here. Fatal 4-way and the main event were the best matches of the night. Wish we didn't have another SuperReigns moment but what can ya do. Didn't have high expectations for the Asylum Match so at least I didn't get my hopes up there. If anything, they did a little more than I expected (mostly, the tacks). Also, it's crazy to realize in person how over New Day are. Their pop was the best of the night (aside from Seth of course).

 

didnt realize Sami/Cesaro did the same spot back in NXT, though I think the one from last night was a little more fluid

 

In the most obvious news ever, JBL's lines about the boos toward Reigns are coming straight from Vince. Doesn't sound like they'll be giving up on Reigns any time soon.

The only way Reigns can be saved is by joining a faction and being a massive butthole heel like the Shield.

 

Canadian Destroyer is illogical in every way. Lol

 

I really enjoyed Extreme Rules. I was into pretty much every match (except Ambrose/Jericho) so that's good.

The fatal four way was very enjoyable and the Miz continued to be an excellent heel champion plus Zayn and Owens continue to screw each other up. Great from top to bottom.

AJ was amazing on this show. The guy is something else and I wish he had won it but I wasn't super hopeful anyway. Reigns could be an amazing heel champion but the way commentary treats him ruins it for me. He would excell as a cocky powerhouse champion. I'm curious to see what he and Rollins do next even if every time JBL tried to say Reigns is a star I just want to turn it off. Does more harm than good for me.

 

But it looks soooooo good.

 

In wrestling I take looking cool over logic in this case.

Adam Rose released officially....wasn't he on that list last week or no? There was so many so I don't recall..

 

Did anyone else just straight up giggle to themselves like a kid when Sami started off the match with the Helluva kick to KO?

 

Do you guys watch WhatCulture? I do love Adam's videos. His take on Simon Gotch is great. Haha.

 

I loved that start.

So far they are handling Sami and Owens quite well.

 

When was the last time Reigns was clean pinned?

Edit: hahahaha and it wasn't even Roman who took the pin. My bad. It was Seth. Golddust took out Roman though.

Crazy that the 15 months I've been watching and Bray and the Wyatt's don't have a single meaningful PPV win....but the Wyatt's went over the Shield in what, as far as I can tell, was the apex of that feud.
