  1. Hope the Rollins/HHH match at SS means he doesn't lose cleanly at MitB

Remember when everyone said WWE was being really careful with the women's division now?

    LOL

    live WWE always a blast.

    - Corbin/Ziggler = Squash feud. It's still way early on Corbin, but for now, a decent enough start. Crowd was apathetic.
    - Usos/Gallows&Anderson = Thank god. Short and simple. Crowd fucking hated Usos.
    - Rusev/Kalisto = I'm glad to see the Kalisto experiment over. Even the kids didn't give a shit.
    - New Day/Vaudes = Great. Everything about this was enjoyable. All of the BootyO TSSHIRTS WERE SOLD OUTT!!
    - Fatal 4 way = Amazing. Amazing fun match. The kids behind me cried when Miz won. The arena didn't boo as much....i think they were too appreciative of the great match.
    - Ambrose Asylum = Too long. Once the thumbtacks came out, the crowd picked up, but this live looked sloppy, fake, and just plain bad for the first 60%. The PG era is killing these type of matches...although Reigns/Styles proved there's still hope at times. This was basically a comedy match that went for far too long. Now, BAD LIVE doesn't mean BAD on TV...so take this opinion for what it's worth.
    - Charlotte/Natty = Exactly how you think a submission match would look, when you have a heel vs bleh babyface. Loved the Dana usage. Loved that Charlotte retains!! I'm the Charlotte fan here.

    - Main Event = Way way better than I had hoped. AJ Styles is fucking awesome. Interesting tidbit about the crowd in this one.... while the boos were fucking awesome and overwhelming at times...at the end...there was a decent amount of people who popped for his win. That was shocking and disheartening to hear. Also...as much as we hate Reigns, the crowd was red hot that whole match...there's something to be said about that. Fuck the WWE for having Reigns super-cena the end though..jeuss christ, fuck the wwe.

    Rollins! hurray!

Popping for Roman during wins is bound to happen, the fans not into him are going to be resigned and the fans that are super excited.

Same thing happened at WM (that and the crowd being exhausted after a 6 hour show).

In a match that will take 5 1/2 hours bare minimum.

no, it was still bad on TV. The report that they added 10mins to it makes sense...it felt like it started fine, then died for 10-15mins, then came to life. Amazing what choreography does.

Curious, was the "AJ Styles/Roman Reigns" chant equal in the arena? And was it clear that Reigns fans were all the younger people? On the network, they sounded equal, so curious if WWE was fiddling with that or if it was real.

And honestly, its hard not to pop at the end of that match and applaud all the work. Might be the sneaky genius of WWE here...put Reigns in a half dozen incredible matches through Summerslam, and the worst the audience can do is clap for the other guy carrying him

As long as we get Styles/Rollins whenever AJ is back from his break I'll be happy.

So assuming the "had to find 10 minutes of filler cause something got cut" rumor is true, makes the most sense that it was something Stardust related. Wonder what they had planned.

either that, or they had wanted to do the Cass/Dudleys spot with Enzo during the actual show, but Enzo still wasn't good to go so they moved it to preshow

Guess I was wrong. Sucks, a lot.

Edit: watched the main event from extreme rules. Good match, shitty finish, Rollins is back and that's a positive. Roman's powerbomb was sick and hopefully that becomes his new finisher. Spear out of nowhere when Roman is standing still makes no sense.

Show was fun as hell for the most part. Maybe it was because I went in with such low expectations, but thought it was one of the better PPVs in a while. Can't lie, though, barring the thumbtack spot, the Asylum Match was a flaming pile of dog shit. Goddamn, though, that Fatal Fourway. The Rollins return was an amazing cherry on top. I've never heard a crowd go so crazy in my entire life.

It was, though I'm quite disappointed you didn't notice your boy a few rows behind him. Shame.

    This is why:

    man, I'm pretty Prestigious

Again, Asylum match was fine. Better than the Payback match. Had the most memorable spot of the night, put Ambrose over big, overlong but that's been explained. It was the only match of the night that actually looked like it belonged on a show titled "Extreme Rules". It was slow until the end, but that was the point. It wasn't even THAT good but listening to the reactions in this thread you'd think people just watched a Dempsey/Mojo match.

Crowd being dead for everything that wasn't main event/ic title didn't help it.

Bryan and Vinny absolutely loved the main event, a lot of talk of MOTY and it even being better than the 4 way was.

I mean as telegraphed as the finish was and LOLROMANWINS, I have to agree. AJ cemented himself as one of the top guys in the WWE for however long he is on the roster with it. Back to back PVPs putting Roman over in high quality bouts. I still think he has to win the title somewhere in the next year or so if he stays healthy.

They also dumped on the Dean/Y2J match with great fervor.

Fatal fourway and ME were excellent matches, the rest of the card was subpar but those two matches were great.

    A DILAPIDATED BOAT! Prestigious

Finished PWG ASW12 yesterday and Sabre Jr/Strong was really slow to start but man it got awesome towards the end, and that finish was sick. Cannot fucking wait for Zack Sabre Jr in WWE's Cruiserweight tournament, very interested how the WWE/Full Sail fans will take to him.

It's just going to be so heartbreaking when he almost certainly loses in the finals to someone already signed to WWE.

Miz is the best heel on the roster you turds.
Also it's absolutely insane that Rollins came back from that injury in like 6 months. Guy isn't human.
